  4. ok in that case, when in the first appointment do i need just brin the HLE ? What if the hdb officer ask for all the originals ? that means they won't reject my application even if i change job ?
  5. its a matter of luck. queue no is all depend on computer balloting. if u never choose a flat on the first appt despite ur queue no is small, then next balloting the chance of ur queue no becoming bigger is quite high.actually its all depends on luck.
  6. i guess ur comments are needed at all thread... we welcome ur comments...
  7. i applied for a HLE using my former employed payslip. the hle results came and was given approval for loan. but i havejust gone into a new job.wld it affect me getting a flat ? or wld i need to change my hle again ? during my first appointment must i bring just my hle and what other documents ? do i need to inform the officer in regars of my change of job ?
  8. hi i applied for the half yearly sale ... but i wld be changing job soon.. ... wld it affect me getting a flat ? confused and panicking..
  9. yoz.. thx alot..great to hear that... ok another question : usually which is people's fav choice in taking up a flat .. i mean in which estate? the last hdb sale... which estate sold almost all flats ? but i guess nowadays ppl don't mind taking up any type of flat in any estate even if the flat is 3o+ old which is sold(repurchased unit)
  10. so does that means when we go there if no one chhoses the location which i wanted.. i wld still get it? regardless of my queue no,maybe if its 800?
  11. no 1 in ponggol breeze ? when i apply for the half yearly sale .. it never ask me which location i want ... so when am i suppose to know which location wld i be getting ? very confusing
  12. the oct half yearly sale of flat... actually i did notice something. when i applied for the flats ,but it was not required to apply for a particular estate.why is this so ? ok what wld be the next step ? is this what wld happen-------- 1.go down hdb on my appointment date.2.request to get this particular flat in that particular estate.3.if the flat is available , pay the option to purchase and thats it? can somone explain to me in regards to my question... very confusing...
  13. hopefuuly the hdb applies the rule now... 90% to be allocated for first timers...
  14. half yearly sale have options all over singapore to choose from but how many flats to choose from is another question and the worst thing is that many flats are still under construction. have to wait for another 2 to 3 years b4 getting the flat. wah worst things these year applicants so far got so many more than 10,000 but still never give up hope... top 50 is my aim......
  15. sept BE | HALF YEARLY SALE -AWAITING RESULT - PRAYING HARD TO BE IN TOP 50 .... TO BE SURE OF SECURING A FLAT ... BALLOTING QUEUE NO SHD BE WITHIN 1-100 OR 1-200 OR 1-300?
  16. maybe its due to population each ethnic group comes under this if u look closely... chinese are the majority in spore. therefore... even if ur a first timer.. definitely it wld take some timeb4 u get a flat cos there wld be many first timers like u .whereas if u look at other race.. example : indians/malays their population is kinda small .therefore their chances of getting a flat is quite higher. 2ndly luck plays a big part......
  17. How does balloting work ? i truly understand its being drawn out by computer. but under what criteria do they choose ? etnic group ? first time applicant ? staying near parents ? salary range ? or under what capacity ? let me give u an example... current hdb sale of half yearly: 10000 applicants from there 8000 - chinese | 1500 - malays | 500 - indians/others = applicants from there how they split the group ? 8000 chinese -how many first timers ? how many staying near parents ? each individual etnic group they ballot according to this ? i was wandering for instance if a person who is trying for a flat for abt 10 yrs ,depending on luck for the queue no ,he wld never get a flat. if any good soul who knows the answer to this... pls kindly reply...
  18. me too work in tuas... too far away... getting jurong west is the best. aikz.... b4 that have to make sure the queue no also favours us. 90% goes to first time applicants... so i hope ur under this group... i'm under this group.. hehe anyway good luck to u and all applicants hei... how many times have u tried applying for flats under balloting ? going resale... have to break bank no of applicants : 10,000 over...sianz
  19. hi i am abit confused... i as looking through some brouchers and there were some packages.. does it includes the lights for the home? the doors ? i know that things like appliances like heater expenses is ours... how abt lighting ? do we need to fork out extra ?
  20. don't worry.... r u a first time applicant ? oh .. and yes they go by etnic group too.. as i am an indian.. i guess my chances are abit high cos i wld be up against my own race for the flats... hopefully they aren't much indians who are first timers applying... 90% of the flats are kept aside for first time applicants. anyway good luck to u ....don't worry. hope the best .... i am hoping too....
  21. i don't thnk so... many ppl turn to jurong west clementi woodlands sembawang yishun who wld want sk or punggol? so deep in... at first i too thought of going to sk or punggol.. only when i realise that its too deep in... transport $$$ wld have to be spend alot... no wet market nearby... aiyah ..go and do a research b4 buying a flat... cos u have to be there fr another 5 years b4 selling... lrt.. then mrt... and to go to city ... the fares are too high.....the taxi fare bust wld make me faint... time... money .... is the cause for many rejection..
  22. yea nice units too... near lrt...but isn't sengkang far from town ? too deep within...
  23. me placing alot of high hopes ....praying hard that i wld get a much smaller queue number. current total of applications is over 8877 .... so many ppl trying for a few flats... many foreigners converting to singaporeans is the cause of this problem... haiz... i must get this flat ... if not no home......
  24. i like the blk tooo... interesting maybe might apply for sengkang too... but actually sengkang and punggol too deep in...
