There indeed are a lot of sites. Some more : www.flatsdb.com www.propertyzone.sg/classified/hdb-hudc-sale/ www.iproperty.com.sg My fav would be www.ST701.com! :-) -
Hrmph.. how about Amazon or ebay? I saw a lot of decals there. Me & my fh are in the midst of choosing some cos we intend to put a few in our house. :-) I reckon the decals would be cheaper than those in SG. However, take note of shipping and to be safe, order from PowerSellers.

Home & Furnishing: Color of your Walls!
damsel in de-stress replied to oasis's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
Hi Applefreak! I love the colour of your walls! I'm contemplating painting my whole living area in Divinity. However, may I know if it's just off-white or is it more yellowish or orange-ish? -

Bargains For The Weekend 08 Nov 08 - 09 Nov 08
damsel in de-stress replied to piwi's topic in Home Furnishings
http://www.teak-furniture-sale.com - Went here before! It's a warehouse but there's like 3 different levels. The furniture looks uncannily like that from B*rang2 and N*tural L*ving (owner claimed they have the same supplier) but at a lower price. Buttttttttt they accept cash or cheque ONLY. NO NETS even. :-s Plus they open only on weekends.. from noon to 6pm I think. For lighting - my htb saw this in Straits Times. We went to the warehouse and bought 3 wall lamps for $50 each. I wouldn't say ALL of their things are cheaper than outside.. but yes, there are some that are cheaper. And of course.. bargain!!! Heh. :-) Address : Eunos Warehouse, 3 Kaki Bukit Rd 2 #01-08A (opp Geely Showroom) 10am - 9pm And ooh, Barang2 having 40% off!!! Ends in Nov though. -
PM me too!!

I agree with Double J. Nowadays, some 5 room flats are even more expensive than our EAs! Plus, some of the people who purchased the 4 or 5 room flats may have paid even more cash than us!!! :-s And they get rebates? How about those people residing in central areas or marine parade who have paid really really high prices for their flats? They get rebates too since their flats are not EAs. And of course lower conservancy charges, tariffs etc. That's unfair, no? Perhaps it's time our govt revise their system. -
Hi.. Sorry for the late reply... http://ayerhitam.com/ Go via 2nd link then go to Northsouth highway and exit ayer hitam (244) I don't have the exact address. :-s If you are still unsure, I reckon you can ask the people around there. It should take about an hour to reach there from JB. Per my parents, there are many shops there.. but the most famous would be Aw Pottery. Do look around and .. bargain! ;-)

Thank you :-) Mine is near to Kaki Bukit side. The small estate of red brick blocks. -
Lol. What my father does is to use a basketball! He will bounce it off the ceiling. My neighbour upstairs is so irritating. They let their children ride their tri-cycles or bicycles at home so you will hear the sounds of the wheels. SO IRRITATING. And I think their maid is plain mad. She often use thes mortar and pestle at night or at 5am in the morning. Maybe she makes sambal belachan at such hours. Grr. It gets so irritating that my dad had to resort to using basketball. We've confronted them before but they denied. Tsk tsk.

Nope I don't have a photo. All I know is that it's cheap there. There's a famous pottery - Aw Pottery - but can't seem to find their website. :-s Erm.. I'm not sure how to get there. I will have to ask my parents. I know it's in JB but JB is HUGE! I reckon should be less than an hour from JB. I'll ask and revert to you! :-) I'm getting mine there too.

I've not been there myself but from what I heard, Ayer Hitam in Malaysia is a good place to get them water features at a steal. My sister got hers for 80RM only. And it's quite big. Just that you need to make the journey. I reckon I'll get mine there too.

I still can't get over the fact that they are selling the SUPER TINY 5room flats at Kallang at $490k and above. That's higher than the price of some EAs in the east. I pity the future generation. Gone were the days when the flats are affordable. I wanted to wait for the Walk in Selection initially but I'm glad I didn't. I reckon the price would be the same as that of the market. In the end, me and future hubby got a resale EA and needed to pay only $6k cash. I'd rather have the space than a beautiful landscape outside my home. Afterall, you stay in the house, no? :-)
