actually, i like the kitchen cabinets de pattern. only the space a bit small. no place to put the stove. They only use ONE induction cooker leh..... but, nice place, really.

wa... living room is NICE! i love your foyer area and the light... oh ya... not to forget, the mbr entrance light tooooooo.... sweeeeee

why do you want to keep / separate the space out from the kitchen? i agreed with koikoi that, its better to cater more space for kitchen. you might not want to cook now. but in future, after you have kids etc, you might want to cook for your family. you know, to see the way they finish up your food is great! =) think further as you will be staying in this house for quite a period. design not for your current status nia.... =) almost same as my mother's place, only the 'directions' of the toilet are diff... a place which i have stayed for 20yrs.... =)

i don keep shoes in wardrobe if new one, of cos its ok. in fact, i don like to have the shoes in shelves without doors de too smell... and not very nice to let others see leh

one of my friends said that, he had this plastic grills for whole house.... got plastic one meh? i also strongly encourage all ppl to fix the window grills. not only to prevent kids, for old ppl too and also make things 'harder' for the theft to break into your house...

WIW = walk-in-wardrobe... cos it looks just like another room in the bedroom.... im someone who don know abt design de.. as long as its convenient, den im ok with it... im a very cheng chai person.. =X there are ppl out there, saying that fengshui's most impt thing is, you can move easily around the house. the way you move is also how the Qi flows... so, try to imagine when you move around in the room... do you need to twist here and siam there to get to your destination? oh ya, is that triangle in MBR a door?

i got questions to check with you guys here... 1. if a cupboard which has lacquer applied, and i want to paint some other colours, do i still need to sand off the lacquer on it? 2. is it possible to use the paint which is meant for plastic surface to paint on a lacquer wood? thank you very much.

colourful, i think if you really wanna follow the fengshui layout hor best is don have any tv set in the room loh... and no WIW too....cos fengshui don encourage room-in-room concept. (correct me if im wrong pls) so how? you want design, or you want fengshui layout leh? haaa headache right.... For me, i will place the bed head at the wall, facing the aircon ledge. i will put my wardrobe on the right as a divider to block ppl to see the bed from the entrance directly. will also cover the aircon ledge window, will not open it unnecessary. ugly? hahaa

thats the prob even you got a compass liao, if don noe how to read, still back to sq one. learning how to read from online, is quite hard (at least to me is like that la) maybe, you can get a fs to have a very simple reading on your house ba? not those very detail de... maybe just to find out the facing and sitting directions of your house and your family de ba zi.....

i also dunno true or not leh so far, my house don have anything which is been kai-guang by anyone... only the Pi Xiu in my office de got kai-guang nia.....
