i will be following your post very closely as i have also just bought a 10-year old private unit and will be doing exactly the same stuff as you. i need to get reno completed in 4 weeks!! can you breakdown the cost (eg polish marble floor, painting, hacking of kitchen & bathroom etc) so that i can make a comparison later? if you can also advise how i can expedite reno process, let me know too! thank you and all the best!

share exactly the same experience! i now come to the conclusion that whether we benefit or not from any audit depends on our 'karma' and bazi. i have known many many who defy all fs rules and still do really well. as for me, i have engaged the top of the line world renowned FSMs yet never benefited at all.

yes i have engaged him for condo & HDB - fee has always been $485, even 6 months ago. now i hear 2 new different charges on this thread - $700 & $1358 for condos. very baffling indeed.

i find it absolutely ridiculous that Mr Chang would segment his fees according to property type, rather than floor area. There are JUMBO HDB flats out there and there are shoebox type 365sq ft private apartments. am very disappointed at this sudden fee increase of over 3x, was looking forward to engage him for my new place. with such a high price and his recommendations always resulting in some weird impractical layout, i may just consider someone else. anyway, where is this temple you refering to? so does it mean the Master's charges are flexible and we pay what we can?

so is it confirmed Mr Chang now charges $1388 for private property (even if it's a shoebox apartment size of 500 sq ft)? i think that would be awfully unfair.

Mr Chang just audited my parent's condo 6 months ago. cost was $485. did he increase his price so much so quickly ????? i am in shock! can anyone else please verify?

Anyone has used Vin Leo before? Have read his website and his technique seems most credible. his approach is identical to that used by the popular Mr Chang (well, it appears to me to be identical!). Have surfed through this thread and only come across 1 post from someone saying the wait is 4 months Vin's fs audit and that he is so bz that he does not personally respond to emails anymore. This guy guarantees results it seems. Any feedback please?

what kind of changes did he recommend to minimise the quarrels? my parents refuse to implement his recommendations partly coz they do not believe a change in the stove position would eliminate quarrels. so the quarrels are still ongoing.

very well said indeed! never proffer advice when you know only a little. a little knowledge is a dangerous thing! feng shui, when wrongly applied, is extremely extremely damaging. am speaking from personal experience. no joke when you are at the receiving end and feeling all helpless from the constant bombardment of bad things.

i have a Novita Water Purifier Unit and was told it is considered a water feature, coz there is water movement.

I strongly endorse Mr Chang too. for that little amount i paid ( i had a very special concession rate), he has done so much . very dedicated and responsible.

haha, i also have a whole list (black), tried and tested and failed like ****. to be fair, alot of them are simply incompetent with too shallow knowledge. some are plain con-man. agree, the consequences can be scary, i used to just anyhow try without finding out properly. one of my geomancer did a one-size-fits-all approach, without even wanting to know my birth details! strangely, he is very popular and i realised a lot of pp have used him, quite successfully though!

yes, incompetent FSMs can completely ruin one's life. i have experienced this. they should be blacklisted!!

thanks, as you can see from the pics, almost every tile is stained (probably water or detergent stain). it is not just the wet bottle stain. looking for an easier and semi perm way to get rid of the stains.

i am quite sure the Kiwi Kleen Floor Tile cleaner destroyed my tiles, since it is a no rinse type. when i left the bottle (its bottom was wet) overnight on the floor tile, it left a permanent mark on the floor after that. can't get rid of that stain even now, despite repeated scrubbing.

glad to hear your problem is somewhat rectified yes please pass me the contact asap. how much did you have to pay for the polishing? how long did the polishing take? does it mess up the whole place?
