  1. hi, when is the philips sale coming? !!
  2. i thought 5% cash and 15% cash/CPF. the remaining 80% is bank loan. !!
  3. i see. where are you staying now? btw, how much did you sell your 3I flat? how much is the 4rm flat? !! but holland is really a very nice environment to stay lor. i've been staying there for 20+ years liao. btw, where did you celebrate your bd this year?
  4. yup, i agreed with you diva. 2 years in advance is really super early lor. that's why cheesecake's hb may think its too early liao so no motivation to book now. men are usually like that. for us, we'll look and look and look until the very last min (1 year in advance) then book it. dont forget if you decided to change the venue and your deposit will get forfeited. no point to be soooo rush lor.
  5. oh, you mean you wanted to sell your house initially but your agent couldnt get you the selling price that you wanted so end of the day you didnt sell your house lor? so your agent didnt get a single cents from you lor? how did your agent reaction? even if your agent is an exclusive also wont get any $$$ from you?
  6. i heard people said that those residents from pte property got enbloc and each household manages to get million of $$$.
  7. i see. but me still prefer petrol type. anyway, no $$$ to buy lexus.
  8. RX is hybrid? but you need to drive until certain distance then the car will convert to hybrid, right. so most of the time is still using petrol.
  9. your AD is going to be in 2009? its a bit early to book now leh. usually, people book 1 year in advance. if you book now then it'll be 2 years from now to 2009. probably, your hb feels that its still early lor. but some restaurants/hotels 2009 wedding packages havent out yet lor. we booked with swissotel 1 year before our AD. actually, my hb is the one who called up swissotel to find out more and then arranged appt with the wedding co-ordinator.
  10. he bought you chocolate every xmas? that's good. ya, the thoughts that count lor. at least, we feel appreciated. btw, if next time your honda city needs servicing, grooming or repairs then i recommend you to look for eric yan. he's a very nice and patient guy. he's in the servicing dept. the old CRV? the new facelift is not bad lor. lexus RX? is it the SUV? my cousin used to drive a lexus SUV (forget the name for that model) and he complained the petrol comsumption is very high so after that he changed to another car. i dont know which car he's driving now.
  11. have you came across seller who doesnt want to sell his house eventually if he doesnt get the selling price he wants from the buyers? if this is the case then the agent will get/ask for any $$$ from the seller?
  12. i dont know whether he's still interested to buy a not. why? you got lobang? me? we got no $$$ to buy condo. where is your new house?
  13. yup, i also heard that property in spore started to get affected by the US stock market.
  14. probably, i shouldnt use the words "good service" but an appropriate word will be "appreciation". at least, we feel that honda appreciates us as their customers. but indeed honda services are better than hyundai. whenever we sent our car in for servicing/car grooming/repairs etc and we're very pleased with the services. there was a time we went to alexandar honda showroom to look for the saleperson who sold us our current honda MPV (the same person who sent us annual xmas card) and so happen he was off on that day but he still made an effort to come down to the showroom to meet us when his colleague told him we were looking for him. compare to hyundai sale people and this honda saleperson's services, which one is much better?? of course this honda saleperson la. probably, japanese company always emphasize on services. for my hb and i, we emphasize on good service when buying something. whether the things are cheap or expensive doesnt matter. eventually, we must feel happy after the purchase.
  15. you used to stay at holland? your parents' house too? holland is a good location so why shift?
  16. i never believe of passing down property to children. i rather believe in passing down cash, gold/gold bars, jewellery etc to children. nowadays, passing down property to children is quite risky bcos there's no guarantee the property will be yours forever lor. in china maybe the plot of land will be yours forever but not in spore. lands in spore are very limited. yup, i agreed that location is a very impt factor bcos the value of the plot of land = location. even if the plot of land belongs to 999/FH but location isnt good also no value at all. end of the day, whether 99/999/FH doesnt matter and most impt is location.
  17. i forget which day liao. i want to see your PS. can show me? the high courts that is opp padang field lor.
  18. at jurong there's also a country club so probably i got mixed up. but my hb's colleague's AD was held at the country club at jurong. very ulu. probably can try york hotel at orchard. the wedding packages are quite reasonable and cheaper. http://www.yorkhotel.com.sg/wedding.html
  19. then dont stay there for so long la. probably 8-10 years can sell liao.
  20. raffles country club is near to jurong, right? my hb has a colleague's AD over there and the place is rather deep inside so quite ulu. probably, you need to hire a coach bus to fetch your guests.
  21. if you want to buy 99yrs house then look for a new one lor. why look for very old one?
  22. you mean your AD is on 24 nov this year? its just 3 months away from now. so, until now you havent booked a venue yet?
