ya lor. i find that red color chandelier is nicer than black. maybe i don't like black color b'cos too dull liao. you're wrong liao. i've 3 crystal chandeliers at home and the crystal balls are shiny. esp when there're lights and sunlight, the shine will reflect on my wall then you can see rainbow colors. ya, crystal is a bit transparent but the black is absolutely not at all.

if broke then no point choosing grand hyatt as the venue and select weekdays to hold your AD. you should consider karen's idea then (refer her posting). !! get an average venue and select weekends. absolutely agree with you. this is what hubby thinks so. he never agrees to hold on weekdays b'cos will definitely affect the attendance. no point choosing a 5 star hotel and end of the day only a hand full of people attend. usually, wedding is held on either sat or sun. never try the da shanghai restaurant. my FIL went to a wedding at da shanghai restaurant and was disappointed.
-
as long as both of you like then ok. basically, hubby and i don't like it. weekdays?? weekends wedding banquet will be better! anyway, it's once in a lifetime so it's worth everything! opps! out of topic again.
-
what about son leh? not the best?
-
i see. my rom was held at carlton hotel. have you seen grand hyatt ballroom? we seen liao but hubby doesn't like the ballroom lightings so we deleted grand hyatt from the list.
-
may i know where was the place you held your ROM?
-
i probably will consider swissotel the stamford b'cos i like their ballroom and bridal suite (@ level 64)!
-
i saw a shop at great world city selling all the christian related things.
-
so you're 25 years old this year. 25 years old was a past for me liao. but my age is around yours. have you decided where to hold your AD? you should start sourcing now and book around may/june (advance 1 year).
-
no lah. i went lot 1 then drove past there to go back holland (my mum's house). i also viewed your rom blog. when will be your AD? you're born in 1982, right?
-
jurong island is quite far so i'm not that worried.
-
xinyi, yours is a resale flat? i just viewed your blog and found out. whenever hubby and me drove past bt panjang and saw the estate you stay. it's near to bt panjang plaza, right.
-
oh no lah. full height windows and bay windows are different i guess. full height window = glass panel from ceiling to floor bay window = glass panel from ceiling to halfway (haven't touch the floor yet)
-
either full height windows or bay windows. these 2 types of windows.
-
for your infor, black chandeliers don't come with crystals. they're made from another type of material. those conventional chandeliers then come with crystals.
-
baywindow doesn't have to be full length (floor to ceiling). usually, there's a platform for you to sit near the bay window.
-
chamia, you're very funny manz!
-
haaalooo devilaz, where have you been?? there're several factors to determine for the price of a resale flat. e.g., the location, mrt, bus interchange, floor level, the reno etc. some home owners are willing to pay for a high price if the location is very convenient for them. this is a very individual matter.

Coping Without A Maid?
korea replied to ARCHer's topic in Maids & Cleaners - All About Domestic Help
we ever done some research and realised that part time maids are more expensive b'cos usually are local people. -
usually, they aren't very new ones. mostly, about 5 years liao. same as mine. before we bought our house and we ever went to see a showflat over at the estates you bought. imagine that was 4 years ago.
-
i see. i also hate ceramic tiles. out dated liao. hdb always supply ceramic tiles. whenever we drove past and we noticed the carparks over there are usually empty (even on weekends), what's wrong? the blocks aren't really very new at least a few years liao.

Coping Without A Maid?
korea replied to ARCHer's topic in Maids & Cleaners - All About Domestic Help
ya, agree. training a maid isn't an easy task. sometimes, after trained the maid liao and she forgot then repeated the same mistakes. my in laws also changed a few maids liao and eventually the last one was the best but too bad she resigned due to her family affairs. -
yours is more inside? but is among those blocks lah? my house is also premium and came with ceramic tiles but we changed to homogenous tiles. altogether cost us a few thousands $$$.
-
halo air, congratulation! btw, is your house quite near to an expressway? b'cos whenever we drove past an expressway and saw the blocks with green color windows. yours is a premium flat? is it came with ceramic tiles? you aren't going to hack away to replace homogenous tiles?

!! you want to celebrate mother's day with your mum huh?? girl.
