of course, hubby had bought a wedding bands to ask me to marry him but not buying a diamond ring. the diamond ring he bought for me was after married (on our anniversary). he took the weddding bands with him and came to my house to ask my mum's permission to marry me. his face was so red that time! i'd an ex-colleague told me that her hubby spent a lot when proposed to her but after married changed liao. from that time onwards, i feel that proposal is nothing lor. most impt is after married treatment.

madam milan is at raffles place lah. my hubby is hinting me?? haha, of course not lah. he'll never agree me to sell my LV bags! that time, when we were at raffles place and we walked pass madam milan, hubby told me "never learn from others to sell your LV bags, ok"! haha. hubby will get very if i were to do so. he said even my LV bags use until quite sometimes liao also cannot sell and just keep them then buy new LV bags. woooow, new LV bags!

i'm sure many girls already told their bfs how big their diamond rings of the future are going to be. but frankly speaking, last time when hubby and i hadn't ROM yet (still gf and bf stages) i didn't tell or hint hubby about any diamond ring at all (not even telling or hinting the carat of the diamond ring!). i feel that as long as i can sense his sincerity then ok liao. as i mentioned before, sincerity can come from many different ways (doesn't have to be a proposal). haha. proposal to me is nothing or can say not impt at all. i just want hubby to treat me good after married. so far, he's treating me very some men proposed to their wives but after married and treat their wives like a dirt. there're some cases like that. e.g, my ex-colleague's hubby. to me proposal = nothing = no big deal

you could even take photos very clearly when the bullet train was moving! no joke. we managed to take some photos when we were in the bullet train. maybe b'cos due to winter times. we went there last nov so hadn't winter yet but weather was very cooling.
-
no, bullet train is very stable. when you sit in the bullet train and you can't feel that it's moving very fast. you can even walk without feeling shaky when the bullet train is moving.

you mean the engraving on the wedding band is collecting dirt? you can bring back to the jewellery shop where you bought your wedding band from and ask them to clean for you. or you can home diy by using a soft toothbrush with soapy water to clean it. i guess you can't do anything with the exterior scratches but to bring back to the jewellery shop to ask them to re-coat the wedding band (must pay $$$ of course).

i forgot liao leh. hubby told me b'cos so happened he listened to that radio station. maybe 933 fm.

i don't know how far xining to lhasa is b'cos never went before. but the bullet train is really fast. try to experience it!

i haven't tried the bullet train in japan yet. so don't know the same a not. maybe lor. recent news reported that the bullet train in china got a problem b'cos the residents staying nearby complained. if not wrong, it's due to the health problem.

karen wrote near extinct lah. what endangered breed. you then is one!

i don't know leh. i find 50" too big liao even if to put in our EA unit.

hubby wanted to buy a cheaper laptop for himself so he saw the news reported that at the PC show there's a laptop with xp for very basic users and selling quite cheap. but the problem is the news never say which brand. my new laptop is using window vista and vista office too. ya, the vista office can use for 3 PCs. i borrowed my sister the vista offfice for her laptop. 50" is too big for a hdb flat liao. the viewing distance is very uncomfortable to the eyes due to the spaces in a hdb flat. maybe a terrace house still ok.

the speed of the bullet train is extremely fast but when you sit inside and you actually can't feel the speed at all.
-
extinct? i'm still comfortable with the 80% trust and 20% monitor "rule".

hubby and i have the same thinking as you whether worth to squeeze with the crowd at the PC show. i mentioned earlier that recently hubby bought a 26" panasonic LCD at $890 from hong liang. we bet at the PC show this model doesn't sell as cheap as what we bought.
-
wow, 50" at $2599! good a not? so cheap. our plasma, home theatre system and washer are all panasonic. hubby told me there's a pc or laptop using xp for people who only need the basic. do you know which brand? that time the news got reported mah. !!
-
no lobang. recommend you to take the bullet train. that time we went china and took the bullet train.
-
ours is panasonic. haha. !!
-
such PC show, you must do some homework before hand after that then can straightaway head to the respective booth to purchase the things. for example, if you want to buy a new set of tv then you must know the brand and model which you're going to buy. in this way will save time and easier!
-
the PC show was extremely crowded! we could hardly walk lah. even wanted to buy things also difficult. they should hold the show at spore expo where the spaces are bigger leh. so silly. !!
-
ahnah, you're going to china in july?

haha. your welcome-door-dog really look like your real dog!
