no, we didnt buy from sony. few years ago, we bought a sony handycam and spoilt liao. the one we bought is slimmer and more compact than the sony's. btw, how much is the sony handycam (the cylinder shape)? we only bought a handycam and some computer softwares. we already have one panasonic plasma, one panasonic lcd and one sharp lcd at home liao so didnt buy.

frankly speaking, i dont know what to buy from the philips sale leh.

the tour guides (tour guide + his assistant) were friendly, humourous and services were not bad. they treated their tourists just like kings and queens throughout the whole tour. usually, the hotels are either 3 or 4 star. if you want 5 star then you've to top-up for extra $$$. since you're going to korea so of course you'll be eating korean food! haha. you can eat until you vomit bcos they'll serve you till you're full.

i find that bengawan solo's mooncakes are not bad too esp the snow skin ones. we used to buy from them but recently switched buying from hotels.

my mum doesnt like the idea of renting bcos usually those PR/foreigners always give problems. on the other hand, she prefers the furnishing in the house to remain the same. if rent out, those people sure mess them up. $$$ is nothing but memories are precious.

erm, we've a car so of course we'll drive there and moreover we should be going to get something from the sale; if dont drive then so incovenience. the infra-red item is from philips mah. we saw them last year at the sale. the sale is indeed cheaper lor. last year, we bought a mini hi-fi which cost $99 from the sale. but at departmental stores, they're selling at $179.
