I also got a quote from them. A few things to note. 1) haulage charge, I think they put 500$ bao ka liao. From my understanding, the haulage is charge by the contractor at your house area. Sometimes also free one if you are re-sale flag. My current contractor only charge me 250$. 2) Please request to view one of their completed job. Dont just look at their show room. Me and my wife went to one of their finish. We dont like the finishing of their carpentry work. Looks cheapo. 3) sometimes those contractor from those HDB shop is also a good choice. They have low over head and can bargain. But really have to spend a lot of time to hunt around.

Please be careful if you want to do custom design. I hear from the furniture shop got specific measurement one. Anyway nowadays the alter also got more modern look want. Go shop around. I bought mine wilt walnut finish with no carving.

Go univonna and try all the sofa. The AMK shop got lobang which is about $100 - $200 cheaper.

If you have read enough of the forum, you might have known this already. There is this shop at ang mo kio blk 338 recommended by someone on this forum. I went there myself to check it out and got a big surprise. They are very well informed and has a lot of catalogue. It turn out that a lot of show room like Red Apple, Modi, Brighton got their furniture from china factory. The shop that I am refering to has all these catalogue as well. If you can tell them which showroom you say something you like, chances they can find it for you. Best of all, they are cheaper and more reliable. The boss will even tell you if a particular furniture quality is good or not.

Just a quick note. I have went to 4 ID. Not only I compare price, I also insist to view one of their just finish project. Looking at the thing in their showroom is not accurate as they tend to show the best. Looking at one of their project is the best. I found that cheap may not be good and expensive may not be good too.
