  1. Hi, thanks everyone for your replies. I will check out the Bedok shops. Only neighborhood shops have what I m looking for. It's actually buy n carry type, ready assembled.
  2. Thanks Sam, have checked out giant hyper store. Only have 1 or 2 pieces, mostly are shelvings like metal ones and cost a lot!
  3. Hi, Used to be able to find furniture shops in neighborhoods that sell these knocked down, lightweight furniture. Now nowhere to be found and if chance upon them, usually have v small selection. Anyone knows where to find them in the east? Ie bedok town central? Marine parade? Will places like vhive have the same stuff? Referring to those type of cupboards that may be big or small, have holes in the side for shelving and are super lightweight 'wood' material. Thanks in advance!
  4. Thanks for your reply! How about windows within the house? I was thinking it will look wierd to clean only the bottom half, cos the dirt will be visible. Has anyone used the invisible grille solution? Can kindly share your feedback on it? It looks like a wonderful idea.
  5. Hi, I'm new to landed property, hope to get some advice! For houses with high ceiling and lots of high window panels, how do you all manage to clean all the way up? I think can't reach that high with ladder. Also, do you engage someone to clean the facade of the house, and how often? Aside of this, do you know of any companies that can add perspex panels along staircase etc as barriers for child-proofing? Will a house look odd with windows all grilled up? I need to child proof all windows but I'm thinking it sort of spoils the whole 'look'. Do you have any solution to the mosquito problem that landed housing usually has? Besides, doing up netting for all windows.. has any repellant worked for you? Grateful for any pointers!
  6. Hi there, Yes i went.. its either bronze or golden, of different sizes but look mainly like that. Seems like there are really no other options... Need to drill holes in the cupboard doors and then lock them together with the contraption.. *sad*
  7. Thanks for your reply! Do you mean these? http://www.yapsun.com/index.aspx?uc=produc...D=153&Page= Are there other nicer contraptions?
  8. Hi, wonder if anyone can advise.. I'm looking for a way to lock my cupboard doors. They are without knobs, just flat cupboard doors that swing out and away from each other. Is there a way to lock the 2 doors together so that they can't be opened? Hope you can give me some handy-man advice! Thanks!
