Wah the pool area is indeed nice! lol. Work towards ur dream and achieve as far as possible within ur means! Talking to IDs indeed "opens" up ur mind to more ideas. have a open mind and re-cap what each firm suggest and decide wat is the most comfortable design u want and ask for re-quote from a few short-listed ones. slowly kick out each ID and choose from the remaining 2-3 will be good enough. Too many IDs will make u blur too... lol. anyway waxus is the co-owner of this house too is it? LOL!

LOL ya i am scare that my hse will turn out too dark cos of the dark colour laminate & black mirror for the feature wall.. so we decided to add in some cove lights at the tv console. The dark walls for the bar area is wat we wanted cos bar ma.. lol. like night spot like tat. haha! But the painter say dark paint harder to maintain. Anyway we have spotlight at the bar there. hopefully will have enough lights. master room's pink abit too pink but my FH say is ok! he likes bold colour. and luckily he dun mind PINK.

heehee yeah thanks! i confirmed Mr Ong as my electrician liao. So he is doing my electrical works. I didnt compare his pricing with my ID's la, but i am thinking it will most likely by cheaper. LOL. WOW. my kit tiles have a long crack across many affected tiles. I dunno whether they do something to the cement behind or simply replace the tiles. Must monitor closely. My cracks on the living room wall was rectified but the cracks returned even before we start reno. the hdb guy says is cos the new cement and the old cement expand/contract differently, resulting the cracks to RE-appear. =X For our hse, do we get vertical or horizontal storage heater? I dun see any red/blue sticker in the bathroom which the storage heater seller told us to look out for.

I like the pink walls! My mbdrm walls are going to be pink too hehehe. my FH gave the green light!! But i am not using lollipop. too pink for mbdrm. lol. or rather, too pink for him. wahhaha. lollipop is such a nice colour for a gal's room.

Hmm... the one running slightly above the grd, tat is to drain off water cos i rem the a/c guy say ask the capenter dun push down that when doing the walk in wd. the one on the ceiling... hmm.. is it the copper wire.. i rem something like tat. i rem he say the copper wire run on top. so after that when i go and see after its done den i also shocked how come the ceiling one is so think also.. maybe i check with gain city again.

My door frame for master bedroom is slanted. HDb tot is the door prob so they tried rectifying the door till its not even anymore and the door when closed still cant align. den they realise is the frame prob. =? Then cos i dun wan to wait for them to rectify liao, den they agree to either liase with my ID to do concurrently with them or to do after that. Haiz so troublesome. So i have yet to find out whether my floors are slanted or not. =/

the window film is the kind that u can see out but outside cant peep in one? i wan to put for my windows too.. esp the corridor that window.

My sink with the detergent dispenser & tap is $230 but if we are getting storage heater, we will change to another tap with hot/cold water and top up another +/- $30. Haha. My FH collect vodka & some others, den since that side there is empty, we decided to do a bar area. Our kit is really too small. i dunno where i can put a portable microwave/rice cooker etc. haha. My ID doing the hacking now.

They only draw the areas where they r doing the reno, so never draw the dining area in as it is furnishing hee. The dining area is in between the bar area & the sofa. ya lor. we get hobz. we dunno much abt the brands. places we go to rec brands like Techno etc. But Poh Joo boss rec us Hobz, affordable and not bad. Since i am not a high-usage user, i went ahead with the purchase lor. But the hood is abit chunky. hee, see whether u can accept or not ba. The purple is proposed by the ID de..... We think is quite nice too. But, i find the feature wall at the living abit too dark but my FH find it very nice. Somehow i feel that the colouring in the perspective is not very accurate. Have to ask the ID again. =X

Ur id painted the doors for u? Can share the type/brand of paint for the doors? But shouldnt the doors be painted after renovation is completed? LOL. In case the workers dirty the doors. =P

my unit has watermark all over. living/bdrms/kit. i didnt check the household shelter though.. too dark, i cant see properly wahaha. just called and spoke to the mr ong again. faints. Really take 2 mths to do le. Wa very nice!! ur feature wall for the hsehold shelter uses black mirror rite? nice! i will have a bar corner too.. Think will be the same as ur counter top. You using granite or the black solid top for that? Plush also suggest the same top with the same steel bar as the support at one end. LOL. We chose black solid top.
