I'm thinking of installing some form of reading lights when I read on the bed. A friend suggested installing downlights on the ceiling above the pillows but I was also told it will get very hot. Is it true? Any other designs?

is this possible? am also keen if this can be done...

I bought a sub-sale condo that's still under construction. Is it possible for me to make some changes to the unit before it TOP? For eg., if I would like to have a glass wall replace one of the walls of the room. I want to avoid having to knock down the wall after TOP to install it to avoid excessive costs. Who do I contact though? Right now, I am only dealing with my lawyers who are dealing with the developers' lawyers but is there someone from the developer who deals with such things?

Does this include all the fees, printing costs, stamp fees etc? Read from orange tee website that there are search fees, stamp fees, disbursements, mortgage fees....

Hi Can I check how much would legal fees usually come up to (excluding the bank's subsidy) for the purchase of a private condo? I will be using CPF monies.

Hi, newbie here needs some guidance... I noticed in many hotel rooms: 1. The TV, other than playing normal TV channels, can also play radio stations. How do they set that up? 2. The toilet has a speaker (hidden) with volume control, that plays TV audio. How do they set that up? I dun see any amplifier around... I managed to find a speaker recently though after hunting around, it was a single speaker hidden under the vanity counter.

I have seen some showrooms where the mount the bed partially on the bay window. Has any one tried that? Just wondering if it is comfortable to be partially on the bay window. Any approvals required?

Is it possible to change my MBR door hinge to the other side so it opens out instead of opening into the MBR? Would it be expensive? Want to do so cos my MBR is small, if the door opens out, I can put something eg a dresser behind. Also, any fengshui problem if i do that?

For example: - would i only hear from the developer when its time to collect keys? would they ask you to select colours etc? - what if i want to do some changes, like replace floor tiles? can i ask the developer to change or at least not too lay theirs to avoid having to knock them out later? or i have no choice but till wait till key collection (by then, they would have laid already...)

Hi I looking for an audio system for my new place. What i would like to do is to be able to pipe in music into the bathroom. Normal hifi sets come with 2 speakers... how can i add a third or fourth (which I will install in the bathroom)?
