Anyone has an indoor barbecue set? i have a big balcony in my condo unit. would like to organise a barbecue some time but i'm afraid of the smoke going up to my neighbours upstairs and also turning my white ceiling of the balcony black. is there any set that "sucks" the fumes?

what is backing? what kind of material is used for backing?

i'm also looking for a wireless solution for speakers... any idea how much the solid drive ones are?

I'm considering between the serta sophistication and the simmons glendale... anyone tried them? the sophistication seems quite cooling to lie on and i understand it is cos of latex? the glendale has no latex?

Whenever I open some windows/ balcony doors, my curtains go flying in the wind. I need to keep the curtain closed (partially at least) cos of the afternoon sun so i can tie them up ... anyone has any idea to hold the curtain in place?

Read from another thread that there is plywood in the cushion? What for? Also, if I dun have cushions, what can i use to top the bay window instead of leaving it as cold cement? I have heard of: - marble (pricey) - corian (any idea how much?) - laminate (can it withstand the sun?) what else?

Hi, I'm trying to think of the "cover" for a bay window which i do not intend to convert into anything. Already converted one to a sitting area, and one to a study desk. But this one I would like to leave it as a bay window. I know some people deck the top with marble. It looks very classy but that is too expensive for me. But i dun want to leave it there as just a bare cement. How do you guys cover it?

My new place faces the afternoon sun. Apart from solar film, is there any special materials for curtains that can withstand the afternoon sun ... make it cooler in the room? intend to have a day and night curtain if possible but suspect the day curtain will be useless against the heat...
