Hi all I have a 2 bedroom condo ,that needs painting. Most of the painters I called are quoting me $1200 plus. Can anyone recommend me a cheaper painter ? Thanks

I hope to get at least above 28th floor for the new flat..the view will be amazing..oh yeah I applied for a 5 room.. I think they will do up the place in time.anyways, clementi is a very good location ..furthermore ,,there is the new mall coming up... cant wait... but one thing I dont really like is tht the new blocks will be smaller compared to the current size of the resale flats.

I bought a Buddha Statue, standing one, from Roomy Room ..made of solid wood. .. was told that it was a antique piece ..so now after 4 mths ..there are grayish lines at the seams, ears of buddha..all where there are lines. I dont know whether its dust or not..but its definitely not the dust where you blow and it flies...can anyone advise ?

I have just moved into a condo and the bathroom has a cabinet below the sink. now ,,when i open the doors of the cabinet ..there is a black black patches inside the cabinet.. when we clean it ...it looks more like black soot and appears more in powder form..also letting out a very toxic smell..once we wipe it off. it comes back in the next few days....we also open the cabinet doors if w are not using the bathroom.... few days ago..1 contractor came to my place so we asked him the prob..he said in the interior got insects growing so we should spray insecticide twice a day..anyone had a issue like tht before ?? Also, ,how does the mould or moss look like ??

Anyone knows where I can buy artificial plants ..little bigger ones... and with fake flowers... I have just thrown 2 bamboo trees,, 5 potted plants away ..they were left by the ex-owner ..all of a suden ...there were baby centipedes coming out...i dont know where they coming from...a little check ..i saw them crawling into my pots as well.. anyone ever faced this problem, ?? Any idea ..how they appear ?? Please also suggest where I can buy fake potted plants..Ikea doesnt seem to have much variety....

Hii all i have never been to either KL or Genting ...anyone can tell me.. hows the shopping in Kl and also what are the things that I should go see see ...I have looked into websites.. but it seems that there is nothing much to see in KL ..so now very confused whether I shd go to Genting instead...I got 2 kids wif me also... if i decide to go KL,,,which are the hotels that are in good locations and accesible to shopping malls... any good malls that shdnt be missed .... thanks!!!!!

When I got Weiken in ..they told me have to plaster my wall.. but when I asked another Wallpaper guy to do it ..and I asked him ,,,how obvious its going to be...he said not much ..so i thought ok ..lets take the challenge... anyways ,, i feel that if your wall is patchy .people who generally walk into your house will be more fascinated by your wallpaper rather than to go see,,whether your wall is aptchy or stragith..so i went ahead with this guy ..from Senjenco..and I am happy with the results.. I cant even tell tht my wall is not even..

I want to install a mirror measuring at least 6feet by 4 feet..now the ID ***..quoted me $750 for mirror measuring 5ft by 5ft ..and woodwork at the side..2ft each at $500 .... I saw an ad in the papers for Mirror House in Jalan Kilang Timor..they sell different sizes of mirrors with different frames..you can go and choose.. they do install also.. Their biggest is 6.5 feet by 4.5 feet ..the cheapest with frame is $ 488... i think I will go see there first .

Oh does Courts sell ?? I asked at Jurong Point courts but was told that they dont sell carpets..or rugs. ...shaggy carpets are like dog's fur..very soft.
