Hi All, I'm starting my reno soon! Can I check with all kind souls out there, what is the normal % of the Agreed price do you all pay as Variation Orders (VOs)? For example, if a quotation is agreed as 20K, after final payment one pays about 22k, it'll be 10%. Just want to make sure i dun end up getting a bad bargain on a good deal Thanks in advance to all whom replied!

Hi, I have been talking to my IDs/ contractors for about a month now without confirming any. Main reason being pricing and layout and the worry that the quotes are not accurate resulting in VOs... Can I ask if it's normal, or do most people out there take lesser time to confirm?
