Wah, "stalker" ah... Just kidding... Yes, I am staying in Bedok, definitely near, just to schedule my time properly - so busy with so many things this week... Somemore still got the PC show...
-
Haha... Let me see. My study table/chair, small TV console, bed frame, dining table/chairs, washer & fridge --- all on monthly 0% installment plan. Still have not add sofa and bed mattress wor... Terribly broke.

Wah, nice house you've got there, preciousjam. Took a long time to finish your blog (just like rondy's), and your house is big and nicely done up! Do keep the pictures coming... Cheers!!
-
Ok, that's it! Will go there and take a look, no later than this weekend! Haha... Oh, by the way, can I pay by credit card 0% interest ah??
-
OMG, can "custom make" ah, ok-ok, I better "fly" there soon to take a good look. Thanks, thanks, haha...
-
Thanks, ashes02, appreciate your response. By the way, how "tall" is the table? And are there a few selections or just this one? If just this one, it might be too big (or long rather) for my study/work room. I was thinking a round top...

Sorry, it is a re-post (#593). Think pinkpetter didn't read previous page... Sorry ah, guy77, need to "hijack" to ask pinkpetter about the photo above (posted 2 months ago wor, haha) on the right - bar table: (1) Is it bought in the same shop - Univonna? If not, where can I find such tables? (2) What is the height (from floor to table top) of this bar table? (3) How much does it cost? (4) Were there a lot of selections on the type of bar tables? I am looking for bar tables, but not sure where to start. I hope pinkpetter could shed some light on this. Thanks.

Personally, I think option A gives a brighter and neater look. Somehow, it also looks more spacious.
-
Thanks for the info. I would love to go for Simmons, but seriously - no joke, I am very-very tight on $$$. Coz my 5-room flat, the reno (adding on lights & toilet fittings, etc), aircon and also the furnitures --- all on me wor. How can still spend too much, I wanna :~
-
Hi preciousjam, when you say firmness good, is it those "hard-hard" type?? Coz I would prefer those hard type than soft mattress, and I do know I should not compare it with those branded ones like Simmons, etc...
-
Thanks, Pinklady, yes, especially the living room, looks very spacious - more importantly, I like big and spacious place. Haha... Currently, my mother's place also, the basin is the way as my new place (small on the right). However, in both houses, it is the same "logic", as the cooking part is on the left of the basin, so the bigger side should naturally be on the right (when you need to shift hot/big stuff over, you might want to quickly "cool down" with water). In this case, she would get use to it easily, since it is the same orientation as her current place.

Wow, thanks man, Rasp. This advice sure comes in handy and timely. Will be going tomorrow, and I will see how far away is the hanger and the bulb. If it is quite alright, then will just let my mother know - to be careful. If it is not too good, will let my ID know when they are coming back for touching up work, after furnitures are in... Thanks again. Cheers!!

Hi again, rondy. Yes, did have a look at the sofa you bought when I was reading off your blog pages, and indeed tempting to buy also. Will take a look this weekend. By the way, is Seahorse mattress good huh? Thinking of buying it too, due to $$$ constrain lor, haha... No kidding, if the sofa need space, sure I have space, just not having enough $$$!!
-
Haha, sure, no worries. Alright, catch up with you again, going to sleep. Good night!
-
Ok, got it. Will try to take a "very close-up" photo on it! Haha...
-
In case I got it wrong, what do you mean by joint lines? So that I can take a close up photo to show you, before I "mess" up taking the wrong thing. Haha...
-
I see, that's good. I am left with sofa (this more urgent) for living room, and bar table+chairs (this one not too urgent though) for my own study/work room to buy. After my renovation, I am kind of "bankrupt" already, haha...

I would go for option 4 first, then followed by option 1. Personal take.
-
Yes, totally! Seriously, I'm glad to have him as he "eliminates" my worries for renovation, and I practically did nothing (other than choosing tiles, colours for painting work and toilet stuffs). Haha...
-
Hi Bon07, I don't remember that it's obvious, I'll take photos again to show you, likely this Friday.
-
Yes rondy, I do agree with you. On the other hand, I think the choice of colour in the painting, as well as removal of the main balcony add on the "big and spacious" effect. Wah, your blog would need a long time to read wor, will find some time to read up yours too, see can "steal" any ideas on decoration not, haha... Cheers!
-
Hi guy77, just finished off the pages in your blog, so many discussions ranging from mahjong ( ) lah, guppies lah, and of course the reno itself. Looks like you are all set once your reno completed, is it some time next week? Great progress and may your reno tun it into your dream home you desire!!! Cheers!

Hi wakzool, nice study table indeed, I've bought the exact same model directly from v.hive, but there is no stock now wor. Got to wait till mid July then there will be new stocks. But I still order it anyway, in case there is no more stock again if I wait till July then order. Haha...

Hi rondy, mine just completed recently by IH ID, no GST but there is haulage & debris removal fees. For your info. Cheers!
