  1. moonlit & hsk74, I've pm-ed you one of the contact numbers. FYI.
  2. Wah, celebration - why still online?? Haha... Anyway, my turn wor - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! May you look as young as always, as stress-free as always!!! May the "force" be with you!!!
  3. Bon07, Didn't forget about you lor, don't worry. As I promised you to ask him, he mentioned that it is indeed the white laminate being used for the TV console, and together with the other brown part, it actually won't make it obvious at all for the joint lines, as it sort of camouflage as one. I also asked if there is any need to touch up after fixing the console, he said in my case no need, and went on explaining touch up is needed when it is obvious, if workmanship good, touch up should be almost or as good as "zero" wor... This is that much I tried to "say what he said" to me over the phone. I think your QC very high, his guys' workmanship must have impressed you a lot. He also impressed me with his own initiative on the future switch mentioned above. Cheers!!
  4. Update 4 Future Switch Yes, you did not see wrongly on the title, the first photo below shows a switch (upper left of the photo) that currently has no use at all. Then you may ask why is it there? I'm impressed that my ID actually thought of this, a good initiative on his part. He was explaining that in case my new hob "RIP-ed" next time, and I got a new electrical hob type, then the installation is a breeze with a simple connection below the hob (see second photo - there is a "6-hole" pin which for electrical hob type), and then the switch will be "operational"... Wow, he really "Wow-ed" me. :yeah: By the way, I just found out the "use" of this switch today when I was talking to him over phone just now. Haha...
  5. Update 3A Dining Table - completed Before hitting the gym for some working out, I was at my place at noon (delivery guys called last night that they will come at 12-2pm today) and the delivery guys came just before 1pm and fixed up the missing "shelf" below the dining table, in a few minutes. Now the table is complete (but still dirty from the dust): A close up view of the design of that "shelf" thing:
  6. Update 2A Bed Frame Position Just a quick update on the position of the bed, as you can see below, should I open my glass door inwards, I can't leave any gap as I was pondering yesterday... Of course, if I open the door outwards, then I can leave some gap. (Do take note the other door on the left can only open inwards due to aircon compressor right outside at the private balcony - can its shadow) Will think through again, but right now, I am likely not leaving any gaps between the bed frame and the wall...
  7. Oh ivy, you better do some explanation, see above forumers were very interested in your "GAME" (is it "R-rated" ah, hahaha....) wor. But I think Bon07 was correct above?
  8. Wah, thanks leh, rolexboy. Didn't know such pouch/bag exist manz, I sound so outdated liaoz. Haha...
  9. Yeah, my heart will "bleed" if the tiles are scratched/spoilt manz... Haha... So my nieces shall not play with the bicycle!! Could I ask how come you prefer the second option for the rack, mrspiglet? Just thinking of exploring all reasons you all provided, then decide on the final position... As for the bed, I will show you more pictures below as an update, after replying the messages from the others...
  10. I fully agree on your points, and-and-and NO CYCLING. Haha... Your reply, line 2 above - "game" ... or gap?
  11. Oh I see, then no choice lor... But comparing your MBR and mine, yours is still bigger lor (same length, but your width bigger than mine), you can check out the first page of my blog. FYI. Reno "ATE" up all and EVERY bits of me lor... *Sigh*....
  12. Just a suggestion for your consideration - hack bedroom 3 wall to form a bigger MBR (with WIW?). If you need another room, then "seal" up the study to form another bedroom?
  13. Hi nobody, your floor plan is nice, squarish type, easier to plan and design. By the way, what is the floor size (in sq m)?? Cheers!!
  14. Yay... Dec is good for me too. Will see how things turn out then.
  15. Thanks Bon07, appreciate your feedback. Just now the furniture company called up to arrange to fix the missing part (of dining table) tomorrow noon time, so I quickly said ok, coz I don't to delay any further. Haha...
  16. Me-me-me!! I put up my hands, I want to join in the group for the trip!! Year end is good, got some time now to save up. Haha...
  17. Wah, asugama, your MBR looks fantastic wor! I like this type of design, your kitchen looks great too! But since I am staying with my mother, I chose something simple. Reason being, she might be doing some cleaning (when I am away at work), so better keep it simple. Haha... Have you started to shift in yet??
  18. Question Time Maybe those forumers with kids could help me with this question. My mother currently is looking after my 3 nieces during weekdays (daytime only), and they like to ride a kid bicycle (those with additional 2 more wheels at the back) in the living room at my mother's place. If they shift here to my place, can they ride the bicycle in my living room?? The reason I asked is that my living room/bedrooms are all homo tiles (see photo below, might not be very clear), would the riding of bicycle scratch/spoil the floor tiles ah?? A closer view of the tiles (looks white but not white, got a little design):
  19. Update 3 Dining Table Set The thing about this table is that the corners are not "sharp", so that it should be less "dangerous", haha... But, the delivery guys left out 1 more small piece (to be screwed below the actual table top, like a little shelf), to be attached around the 4 small silver "stick" things below the table top (see photo below). So they need to make another trip here, really don't like such things to happen, where I cannot have a more "complete look" of the things that I bought. *Sigh*... Different arrangement of the 4 chairs...
  20. Update 2 Bed Frame My "naked" bed frame (without the Seahorse mattress) is here today, it is actually a platform bed... The "skeleton" bed frame. Haha... Do you guys think I should leave a gap on the right hand side of the photo (near power point/socket), rather than push all the way to the wall???
  21. Update 1 Dish Rack Trying to find a best spot for this rack, which I suppose the third one fit perfectly, do you guys think so?? A little too "far" from basin?? A little too "high" up?? Perfect spot?? But my little worry is the nearby power point...
  22. No problem at all, Bon07. I've learnt quite a lot from this forum (though some things I know now, it's too late, haha), so I personally feel that I should share my part of the experiences/problems which I encountered, wherever possible. For your question, I am he would answer me if I call him now, but I would ask him tomorrow as I think I should not bother him on a Sunday (even though he might be working or out meeting clients), a rest day for most people. Pardon me for being a little more considerate here. So wait for my reply tomorrow yeah...
  23. Thanks, blue_diamond. Every time when someone said about the spacious view of my flat, I would take a good look again when I'm there. Haha... I believe the hacking of the kitchen wall makes that happened - a spacious view. Imagine if the wall is still there and the kitchen door is those opaque type, then it will make the living room look smaller I suppose. In any case, hope your place will turn out great too!!
  24. Haha, I see. Thought you meant similarly for your TV console. Oh, anyhow choose one ah, but it's a cool avatar though, haha...
  25. Haha, that's cool, can form a new "Seahorse" club liaoz... They could have been more flexible in the delivery dates mah, I am sure there are days they have little or no deliveries right... Anyway, got to wait, no choice lor...
