In that case, does anyone of you know normally how is the installation charge? Hi BYR, I went to a few shops in one of the area you mentioned, but only saw one type (aluminium type, with J-shape hooks, can see like many aluminium strips welded together, look very ugly). I am actually looking for 1 piece cut out type. Can recommend where which shop in specific where I can find this kind? Thanks a lot to all for replying to my post!

Hi all, Please advise. My contractor quote me $85 for provide and install a pair of aluminium cloth hanger frames (standard HDB type, 8 hooks). Wonder is this price reasonable? As I deal with aluminium parts before (but not for construction), personally I think the price is too high. Hope someone can advise soon! Thanks!

Hi, I have seen that some of you here have sealant prior to paint of the wall, which I assume is for the totally new house (unoccupied before). How about for resale house, do I need to have sealant on the wall first prior to painting also? What is the purpose of sealant? I have a plaster box-up in one of my wall. If I do not do general sealant for whole house, would my box-up have sealant prior to painting, as per general contractor quote? Please advise! Thanks a lot

If I am not wrong the trap is where all your waste go to. Use S trap if the waste hole is in the floor. Use P trap if the waste hole is in the wall.

Hee... Actually I am doing a survey on ceiling fan only as I am thinking of getting some Why no KDK => I know KDK is good but because KDK got no attached ceiling light kit! And my fan must come with lights or else too dark I think I better edit my question in order not to confuse people

Which brand of Ceiling Fan (can fit with light kit) do you use/recommend for HDB Bedroom ? Please comment in terms of fan performance, light brightness (if there is light), maintenance & customer service. Please comment also the fan size (eg. 48", 52") that you are using. Thank you!

Hi, For hose using Amasco 48" / 50" 3-Blade Acrylic fan, can anyone advise whether this fan is good? I am considering this model, but a salesman told me this model is not good in performance. Wonder this is true? If he is correct, then what other brand with 48" / 50" blades is good? I need to have light comes together with fan too. Please advise. Thanks

If not, what other type of light bulb that I can use. Want to create a bit "focused" area with cozy warm light but dun want to use halogen bulb... Hope someone can advice. Thanks a lot!

Mmmm... I also just heard that if the bowl got crack accidentally, then need to change the whole WC for 1-piece.... for 2-piece, can change separately... Seeing that there are more cons than pro of using 1-piece, I decide to get 2-piece liao.... Thanks a lot for your advices

Wonder if anyone install a shower panel before? Saw one which includes rain shower head, body massage sprays, tap sprout, waterfall, & hand shower. Wonder if this needs lots of water pressure? I am guessing that my water pressure is not very strong. Apart from that, is it difficult to maintain? How about those in stainless steel or aluminium. Which one better? Pls advise soon!

Hi all, I am thinking of buying bathroom accessories. Wonder if stainless steel better or chrome finishing better? I know stainless stell is nearly double the price of chrome finished accessories but is it worth it in long run? What are the pros and cons?

Hi, I have been hunting for basins & found that there are very cheap basin (~$40-$80) & there are also those around ~$150 but the design is similar. Wonder what is the factor that cause the price difference apart from aesthetics? Material? Functionality? Easier to mix & match tap & waste stop? Please advise!

Hi Gladyslim, Thanks a lot for your explaination. The cabinet is actually a build-in wardrobe. This material that I had described is not on the cabinet door. I actually see this on the cabinel shelves when I take them down to see. The door is actually more hollow than the whole wardrobe structure. FYI, this wardrobe have been there for 10 years. I am wondering if the wardrobe can still last for another 15 years without the whole structure falling apart? (poor cosmetic condition after 15 years is ok with me). Pls advise

I saw this type of wood in one of the custom made wardrobe. Looks like plywood in a sense I can see 3 layer of wood glue into 1 piece. 2 layer in the outside is lighter (brown) in color. 1 layer in the inside is darker (brown) in color. Definitely not compressed wood. Initially I thought is solid-core plywood (3-full layer of wood glued together) but the feel is not as strong as others that I had seen before. And I can hear hollow sounds when knocking around. What kind of wood is this? Is it better than compressed wood or MDF that we normally see in furniture shop? Please help. Thanks. Sorry the title should be: solid core...not solod core....typo
