I ordered from S & C before. Advice to you: 1. If you need the furniture quickly, you had better try somewhere else. Delivery takes at least 3 weeks. Mine was delayed to close to 2 months. Melvin keep citing problems with China customs, shipment whatever. 2. What you see in the catalogue may not be what you get. They constantly get the wrong material, color. My sofa cushion changed 3 times, office chair wrong material, dining table turntable could not fit... etc. If you can stomach all these issues with a cheaper price option, go for it.

VSX-919 should be ok, but you should have gotten the VSX-1019 at $107 dollars more ($696) at the same sale which is IMHO more value for money.

Hi, I went to Choo Chiang today with the intention to get T5 tubes. They showed me a sample with casing and it was so thin I asked them where do I put the ballast? They told me no ballast needed. I don't understand. Can somebody enlighten me? Is it that the casing used is for cove lighting and already has the thin type of ballast which is not Philips/OSRAM?

Hi MaCe, Read your posts on converting T8 to T5 and am very interested. Would like to know how to distinguish T8 from T5 besides the size (16 mm vs 1 inch)? Does the serial number of the FL show this difference? BTW, you get the T5 tubes from ccm or kelantan road? Thanks.
