I think i should be puting the table in the kitchen as my mum prefer a big kitchen... Itz her fav place... oh well at least i can enjoy more homecook food then ;p I havent brought anything cos i m waiting for SALES.. hee.. i got alot of wishlist!!

Yup, can only hack off abit of the wall but it's dosent make a big diff too. Have already discuss with her so i wont be doing WIW unlike my present place now, but when i look at the floor plan, it's also not easy to do WIW in this MBR WIW cos u look at the toilet and window is at the same wall. This 4Arm layout i think not much 4rm are build in this way, dont know where should i place the dining table also.

It will be my mum, me n bro staying in the house and i am entittled to the MBR Because my mum say i m the most fussy so she give me MBR. But i will just stay for a year then i moved out n let the MBR back to mum. I am trying to customised dressing table with some storage places but i seldom see any so am still looking out for some ideas..

I have decided to start a blog to update on the moving and renovation progress of my mum's new place. As i'm going to decide n plan most of the renovation and Of cos i do not know much of all these stuff so i plead u guys to come in to share with me with your ideas and advise! Tentatively i am packing up my own house as i have sold it off already but do not want to commit to another place because it's so expensive now! so moving back to my mum's place for a year then will monitor the price will drop or not.. Have done abit of homework on renovation stuff, seriously i prefer to deal honest contractor so i will be stress free and time saving to recify problems too. New house is a resale 4rm flat at bukit panjang, 20yrs old already so i have to hack away all the tiles and cabinets away. Will be doing the whole house tiling, toilets, kitchen and of cos my room I have gotta a few quota fm some ID, all estimated to be above $30k so while there is still time, i am still searching for a lower quotation (trying to save more, recession already do not wish to spend too much) Native02 had recommended me his contractor... so far i went up to see his almost completed projects so far so good, workmanship not bad so now waiting for his quotation back to me.

Bedbug, How To Kill Them?
lushbelle replied to whoelse's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
Ya, the pest control did clear them all. I paid around $300+ to spray for 3 bedrooms. It's by a big pest control company, they will come up n spray one time after that they will do a followup so if there's still bugs around they will spray the 2nd time. I had ask them to spray twice. And yes those stupid bugs will travel around the rooms because i move in all the 3rooms in my house and each room also got bugs!! -
Bedbug, How To Kill Them?
lushbelle replied to whoelse's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
I had this problem last year too.. It was very horrible and torturing, got all the bites and like what Jcase had said always wake up middle of the night to catch it. I think i brought them back from my phuket trip that time. I didnt throw away the furntiure but i threw away my mattress and all my pillow n bedsheets. I called in the pest control and spray the rooms twice. After that it was free of bugs. But occasionally i do see one running about. Later around 6months later, i throw all my furiture because i am moving out and i found out there's 2 tennis ball that got struck under my wardrobe infested with the bugs!! I almost fainted and quickly spray the insecticide on them.. Horrible... -
I went life storey to have a look and their carpet price are like $1.5k U can actually go to Mustafa there to take a look too..

Is it more worthwhile to custom made wardrobe or just buy those ready made ones? How about the costs? is it almost the same?
