Went up to my place on mon, the place was completely hacked. They are now plastering all the cement for a even surface before lying up the tiles. Good job for them! Keeping my fingers crossed! My contractor told them to laid the tiles by next tues so hopefully it can be done fast n nice! Hee... Went to Sims ave and brought the sanitary ware but i made a silly mistake by going to another shop and not the one Pinkpetter recommended!!! Regretted it badly already! Sotong me.. Spend a total of $1800 for 2 set of WC and basin 1 Kindred Kitchen Sink Rinnai hob Sink tap 2 basin tap 2 champs heater 2 water spray 1 set toilet glass ware 1 dbl towel hanger Then again, i really like the WC pinkpetter had purchased!!! sob sob...

Sigh.. will call them later. The one i took also one piece but it's a china brand and the shape looks funny. I remember yours is the promotion one, so i went in and ask for the promo ones then they show me this set is $288 and comes with the free square basin, i look at the WC and think back the one you brought, it dosent look quite the same. So i thought i remember it wrongly!! Sob! BLUR ME!! haha..

Sorry gal, I am so busy to take the tiles photos in here already, Had asked contractor to decide for me how to place it because i really got no time to think it over! Haha... I also believe that that room was rented out but i never ask who is staying there, just want to revamp the whole place and treat it as new will do! Hey babe, Erm, i am still not too sure if i get the evening sun but should be a tenant staying inside there so he/she hang the clothes up there...

Morning Pinkpetter! I went to Sims Ave yesterday to check out the shop that u mentioned but i forgot the name only remember the shop name starts with E so i drove along and saw this shop with capital E, went in and have a look and brought some items from there. But until i came in today and realise i went to the wrong shop!!! no wonder their promotion WC is dfferent from yours! OMG i totally regretted it! I think i will withdraw the WC already!

Ur toilet tiles are nice.. something quite similar to my common toilet tiles.. later i post my toilet tiles up.. hee.. u give me some good ideas pls.. i m so busy and tired to think where to place them.. I also choose the mosiac tiles for the common toilet but it's the brown glitter ones... Oh where will you be shopping for the sanitary wares? I am thinking to go n get them tmrw..

Pinkpetter.. I suspect we are using the same contractor!! Because we go to same place to select the tiles and my contractor is using the same brand for the table top too!!

Look at the opening, isnt it so small.. sigh. Totally need a revamp!! This is my room... Ugly piping. This house really got very ugly piping.. I didnt give him a exact date... but roughly around 3 weeks he can complete...

The whole place had already hacked. Now they are applying the sand onto the flooring. Monday will start to lay the tiles.. It's fast! Hopefully can complete in another 3 weeks so we have time to move in slowly... Really wish to have some time to upload my fotos so you could give me some comments too!

BAD NEWS.... the wall to the kitchen really cant hack away!!! My god... the opening to the kitchen is really very small!! Sigh.......

Oh dear.. What happen pinkpetter? you better settle it fast becuase CNY is coming, alot of them might not be able to finish it on time. I have done the Dongtu cermony yesterday and now waiting to submit the renovation permit and we can start hacking already!

Tomorrow i am going to get the house keys! Dongtu on Sunday! Today i went PohJoo to scout around for sanitary ware and was being served by a lady.. very friendly and helpful, excellent service! After that i pop over to this chuan heng also, prices are quite competitive also.. hmm.. Recently got a quotation from eric/wellmax on the power coated windows n grilles, good service n advice from him also. As at now i got 1. Ah Soon as my contractor 2. Wellmax for my windows 3. Sanitary ware - ?? 4. LIgthings - ??

I have engaged Ah Soon as my contractor already, really thanks for your recommdation if i am not wrong, mine should be the last project he is taking up, he's sure busy! his hair looks messier each time i see him.. haha.. Is your kitchen laminate glossy? which colour did you use? I told ah soon i want the glossy laminate but he told me that it's going to be wavy so i unwilling choose the normal ones.. i m also going to do white for my kitchen, wardrobe.. etc.

MY contractor had actually mentioned to me that some old flats' beams are hackable but must request for permit.. headache.. eating in the kitchen is fine with us.. but i am just thinking of alternatives.. sigh..

I have to confirm which contractor to enage very soon, but i am having some headache over the kitchen.. if i do the full top n bottom and L-shape kitchen cabinent itz going to be 43ft in total!! Should i apply permit and see if i could hack away the right side of the kitchen area and abit off the left side also? then make a small dining area there??

Hey cloudy, i think my house is almost similar in your layout except for the common toilet and passage way. I couldnt think of a good idea to do a WIW in my MBR which is exactly the same as yours, would u mind to show me yours?

I like the way ur kitchen layout, do you have any 3d drawings? cos i want the same layout as your kitchen but am wondering if i could squueze the washing machine at the rubbish chute area..i will want to shift the chute more to the left side but was wondering if i still could put it there..

I have moved back to Sengkang today. OMG, i nearly break my back, think i am getting on already, cant stress my back too much already. Total items moved- 1 fridge, 1 washing machine, 1 mattress, 2 chest of drawers, 2 TV, 1 TV rack, 9 big cartons, 4 med cartons.. total - $300. I managed to unpack half and make my room comfortable now. Next thing i still have to go back n clear whatever is left behind.. arghh... Imagine i have to moved again another 2 months later!!!! i just have to keep throwing things away in order to keep everything as little as possible! Oh, i still havent receive the quotation from the contractor yet, why do they take forever to get back to me?? Previously i email to Patrick from Ho bee, he never get back to me at all, my friend a contractor never borther to call me back after i called, sms him.. Is business that good huh?? hmmm....
