  2. Hi EngKiat, Thks for yr enquiry.... Okie, LED will need drivers, bcos LED dun hv driving licence so cant drive hee hee.... So it's either using built-in LED driver (direct) or seperate (LED driver). If you want to switch to LED bulbs (direct or seperate type) U'll need to change the lampholder (eg: screw type), provided that your downlight is those vertically insertion type ... wor... If your downlight is those newer design type with the lampholder at the side (horizontally insertion type), i'll sugg not to switch to LED bulbs. Hope this And I've also PMed you liao.... just in case you need my help.... pal

  15. Thanks for your enquiry.... Normally, my customers will be using those 5 inches or 6 inches square/round shape downlights. So far there isn't any complain about the brightness of those downlights. "cross finger" hee... Furthermore there is warranty for the downlights as well. If compare i find that Halogen is brighter than LED. but the breakdown rate is higher, consumption is higher, halogen is hot. Hope these info helps. U've my details, you can always consult me via sms. pal
  16. Hi pal, Thanks for your enquiry... There are many make on the market, doesn't mean that u'll have to buy FANCO brand. All brand are make to the best performance. Whether is it suitable or not it's up to individual. So far, my customers r comfortable with the ceiling fans that i've sugg/recommended ... 3 blades ceiling fans are mostly for low ceiling, as most of them are using plate mounting. 5 blades ceiling fan are mostly downrod mounting, so the blades are lower. U'll be able to feel the wind better. If yr ceiling is high, it's best that you choose a downrod mounting type ceiling fan. Hv PMed you liao.... hope you save some bucks and buy me kopi ya...hee.... :dribble:  pal

  20. Hi pal, I dun know wat u meant by rewiring the motor, if to rewire motor you need to go to motor manufactuer to do it, furthermore there isn't any spec so it's abit diff even if there is somebody that can rewire the motor. If it's to rewire the wires in the fan, then it's not advisable as it will burnt again. May also catch fire. When the fan motor is burn out/faulty The cause will be one of the followings:- 1) Motor shaft jam/stuck, not moving. 2) The winding of the motor is too hot 3) Short circuit of component/winding 4) Thermal fuse operates Hope this helps pal
  21. Hi SiSi, U're most welcome.... N also THANK YOU for your support.... please PM me yr color of the fan that you need... I'm a FULLTIMER ..... 22. Hi SiSi, Thanks for your enquiry.... Okie here's what i can share with you. KDK ceiling fans are not decroative fans, therefore they can't install light to their fans. FANCO ceiling fans are decorative fans, they can install lights to their fans if you require... KDK operates fully on remote control. Whereas FANCO is using a mechanical pull string switch to control the speed of the fan. For FANCO ceiling fan, if you dun like to see the pull string hanging down from the ceiling fan, you can either use:- 1) Wall speed regulator or 2) Remote control The above are optional items, so you may need to top up some some amt of $$ hee.... Note: KDK ceiling fans can't use wall speed regulator. (for remote control type) KDK ceiling fans uses plastic enclosure whereas FANCO dun... Experience:- I've try both KDK and FANCO brand, and I still prefer FANCO fans think my skin is thicker.... So how realiable , it all depends on how you use/maintain the fan lor... I've been using FANCO fan for abt 4 years liao... til now it serves me well no speed problem... "touch wood"... keke... As for KDK i can really tell you how long, I've change to FANCO after using KDK for awhile, also electronics components hard to tell, they have temper one wor.... if they like can last very long, dun like can spoil after warranty period..... hee... But one thing for sure, is that FANCO ceiling fan motor is lifetime warranty so i dun hv to worry about the fan motor spoiling. Hope these info helps. I've also PMed you liao... hope you save some bucks and buy me kopi wor... kekeke... :dribble:  pal
  23. Hi bro carlsberg, Thanks for your intro by giving me this opportunity.... Appreciate very much.... Have a nice day... pal
  24. Hi pal, You mean the whole fan slanted one side If that's the case, you can always push it back to the centre. (if it's using ball joint type of mounting) Hope this pal
