we are laying granite tiles... gotta top-up around $3k to our ID... =( My ID told me since our unit not doing hacking, no need to apply renovation permit... hmm...
-
to all neighbours, we are starting our reno... sorry for any inconvenience caused... especially to our neighbours around Blk 221B #**-84...

i think maybe a thimble has been installed with the shower head... maybe someone can verify?

ok i'll try to explain a bit with my not-so-good english... i think if u are standing at the bi-fold door, looking out of the service yard, with the pulley string in hand, pulling it all the way towards yourself will lock the roller mechanism in place, thus allowing the rack to come down. To raise the rack up again, push the pulley string away from you to unlock the roller mechanism and start pulling the string... hope it helps. hi sheppy, how's reno going? is there is a notice written in chinese on your door? hehehe my ID is going to provide the combination lock and change it throughout the different phases of reno... so we will save some $ on that... hehe. congrats!! aside to BO, is it possible to hyperlink those names in the first page with their reno blogs if any? sorry lah cos i quite lazy to keep scrolling through the thread to find those hyperlinks lah... paiseh paiseh... keke just a suggestion only, can reject one.

I just fill up the defects form, go to the office at 220A, passed Jovi the form with one of my keys. You can choose to give her the key to either wooden door, metal gate, or both. Up to you. Jovi told me normally will take around 2 weeks to rectify the defects as she need to liase with different contractors for different defects. Says she will contact me once all done up. If you choose to close one eye to all those minor minor defects, it's not surprising to see why there are zero defect to report. For me, whether minor or major defects i just write down. It's up to Jovi to tell me whether they are able to, or willing to rectify them. Not sure why there is a crack but its best to write it down for Jovi to follow-up with it. Keep a lookout for it after your reno in case it appears again *touch wood*. That's normal. It's due to the heat generated by the kitchen lighting (belonging your neighbour downstairs) transmitted upwards to your kitchen flooring. At my parents old house, a 25 yr old HDB flat, I can even feel the heat through granite flooring in the living room...

NO PRATA?!! Had my lunch at the Long John Silver beside LG this afternoon. Realised that John John is no longer CHEAP. Combo 1 now cost more than 4 bucks.

you should report any crack lines on your walls... get BSC to patch them up... while you are there, you can highlight the damage to the block sign as well yah
