In my opinion, if cost is not an issue to you and insisting to have an aircon in the living room. I would suggest : For Bedroom 3: Window Unit. Your toilet is further away from toilet so water piping outlet for aircon would need to lay far. System 2: For MBR & Living Room. Since your living room needs a bigger BTU aircon, must as well get 2 bigger BTU for both your MBR and living room. Up to you to decide.

Actually Alternatively if you dun want to hack the whole wall. you can a portion then make a sliding door to the other room which make it seems like a walk in wardrobe.

On chinese tradition; Pick a good date from calendar or FSM to pray 4 corner. Following is what i did last time. Don't ask me why i just follow what i was told to do. - Better if the house is emptied of furniture - Buy 5 oranges , 5 apple, 1 pineapple, bundle of joss stick & candle, Tabun incense with burner. some cans/container for joss stick - Place the fruits, 3 joss stick & 2 candle in the center of your living room. - For the 4 corner of your living room, place 3 joss stick and 2 candle. - Close all the window. - Lit up the Tabun incense and put it in the burner. Fume every inch/corner of your house with the Tabun Fume. (Good for chasing away insects/pest) - Make sure the candle fire is blown off. - Leave the fruits offering in the house. Leave the house and lock it. Choose a good date to come back to your new home (at least 3 days after praying 4 corner) 1st thing you do when go back - Open all the window. Clear the fruits offering and candles. Do some cleaning up. Thats it.

Not very happy with airconservicesg service. I make an appointment with them at 4.30pm. The person over the phone told me they would reach between 4.30pm to 5pm. i waited until 5.30pm also no one turn up. I had to call their office to check. After they check with the aircon technician then they told me that they can only make it around 6plus to 7plus. wasted a few hours of my time. I hope they dun take their time until 8 plus then come. I would blacklist them if they delay again.

From what i understand, The wishing elephant that we invite is blessed in the Layang Layang temple before bring it home. It might not be same as those that we bought in antique shop which may not be blessed. Depend on the way we look at things.. Ultimately we still need to practise doing good deed even though we invite the wishing elephant. Cheers!!!

I think I've seen it before in some DIY shops but dunno whether is it the exact same one. The concept is abt similar from my mum's hse window handle. Except that the screw is from behind(facing outside) not from the front(facing your house). Maybe you could try checking the behind of the window

Actually it is quite simple, i'll explain how i did mine then u can confirm whether it is the same or not. 1) Loosen the 2 screw on the handle body. After that you could remove the whole handle of the casement window. Be careful don't lose the screw. 2) After removing the handle, flip to the back u would see one more screw. U could tighten the screw so that the handle won't be so loose. But don't tighten too hard if not it would be difficult to turn the handle later on. 3) Put the handle back onto the window and tighten back the 2 screw. That's it.

To answer your question. 1) Your drainage pipe is made of PVC not plastic. Able to withstand hot water once in a while. There are different type of choke, too oily... , residue , hair strand. If you are not afraid of dirty, you have to open the piping cap so as to clear the choke in it. If you are afraid of dirty, you can buy a bottle "Drain Choke Solution" from the DIY shop. should be less than $10. 2) Toilet floor detergent, if you dun mind the smell... you can dilute the bleach solution with water and wash the floor.

Why don't you all try to clean it yourself. Buy the steam cleaner and just take 1-2 hour to do the cleaning process. It is not that difficult if you have seen them doing it before.

Actually dun get too engross in FSM theory. You have to find out the source of your illness, then deal with it correctly. The simplest way, ask yourself the following question, whether to follow anot it's up to you: 1) Walk around your home, is there alot of cluster & stuffs in your home? Clustering can zap your energy and luck. Clear it by donating it to salvation army or some other charity association. When clearing it you are doing good deed too. 2) Walk around your home, look at every corner of your house including ceiling and corners. Do you see any cobweb? Cobweb is not a good sign. Which means your home cleanliness is not up to standard. Prolong living in such condition affects one's health too. 3) Cleanliness in your home, do you clean up the floor under you bed? Some people like to keep their barang barang under their bed. In term of Feng Shui, it's actually block the Qi. Furthermore it would also collect dust, home for pest. It's not good for health too. Platform bed too needs to push it out and maintain under the bed clean. 4) Kitchen Cleanliness, Remember to clean your stove, pots and pan. As illness sometimes comes thru your mouth. This is the place where you spend most of the time on. Changing it monthly or every 2 week would be better. Time to do some spring cleaning liao. A CLEAN & CLUSTER-FREE home is HAPPY home. Don't forget to exercise regularly to keep your body health.. Search for some good multi-vit to improve your body nutrient.

I'm using pergo (family) now. After using for 1 year, i find that most of the laminate in my house is ok, some laminate portion in my living room (joint) is starting to warp up. The skirting & laminate part near my MBR toilet is warping too. I ask pergo ppl to come down and check it b4. They insist that it is not cover under warranty. Paid $80 to change just a few cm piece of skirting. **** ex. If you are think abt pergo, think twice. It may sound branded but might not be as good as it sounds. U might as well pay for AC15 of supreme at the price of pergo(family). If you dunno where to get such price, PM me for the address.

if your main door is directly facing window. Easiest solution is to buy a "Ping Feng", it can keep the 'QI' in your house. Some people get those 2in1 type of "Ping Feng" which built in with shoe rack.

Hammer drill not really that expensive, Homefix & self-fix jack up the price too high liao . The SKILL brand hammer drill 550W, comes with drill bits which i bought amk ind park 2 only around $60.

You can buy one hammer drill for later usage only abt $60. For cheap toilet bowl, how cheap is your cheap? I think cheapest is $170 for those brandless type unless u found better lobang.
