are we talking abt the same toilet sewage pipe. But how come the price so great difference. Do you still have the plumber number with you or do u still remember which town council u choose?

I check with town council contractor the price to change the Big Cast Iron sewage pipe to PVC + U-shape one is $750. I check with other contractor also the same price leh. I think the price is quite standard one. But dunno the workmanship good anot for choosing the town council contractor. i don't choose supreme because my one of my friend who is using it told me abt his bad experience with supreme.(not trying to bad-mouth supreme) When he contact supreme regarding the popping up of laminate, they claim that it's due to carelessness) So after that he changes to pergo. He told me that so far so good leh. If my contractor is able to give me pergo laminate at the same price. Why not ! Anyway he agreed to give me pergo instead of supreme .hahaha

Having to choose between this two brand of laminate which one is better. In term of price they are abt the same. Both company is reputable. What a dilemma!! But the laminate i demand it to be easy to clean, durable, not so easy to pop up when ganna water/urine. durable towards scratching of dogs. All the above already cost me $22K plus. Yours is consider cheap liao

did u get the quotation from firmaflor laminate. the quotation i got from them is $4.50psf

lately me and my wife when in the shop to ask abt quotation for our hse reno Guess what? No one came and ask us. After 3 min or so, an uncle walk over and after hearing what we wanna do on. He ask our budget. After hearing he immediately say : "cannot do one lah, at least 30K-40K then enough". For your info. Other contractor and id that i ask quotation at the most is 24K. He dare say in my face "30K to 40K then can do". So i just walk away since they so not wanting to do my business.

Where got ppl give this kind of quotation? where got ppl count earthing point into quotation one? The breakdown should give the no. of lighting point, no. of double plug point no. of single plug point. anyway if more than $1900 , he is consider ex. Unless you ask for alot of extra point.

my house also whole house terazzo (except kitchen and toilet). For wet polish i'm not so sure, but dry polish got different grade one. Normal they use china diamond chip to polish coz it's the cheapest. Then the better grade one is from europe diamond chip. Maybe u can check with your contractor what type of diamond they using. Ultimately i intend to use laminate flooring instead. The information i got it from Diamond Polishing : 6559-3460 (good to gather info) If u wanna compare price check out with this one : 6367-1011

It's not easy to make a decision on the ID. For my case i went to about 8 ID Already. Due to my budget constraint, 4 out of 8 tell me off without thinking saying: "It's impossible to do a reno for a 4rm flat below 30K" So i only left with 4 choice, out of the 4 ID, 2 out of 4 tell me that it's quite tough and then till now also didn't give me quotation. whereas the other 2 ID told me that it could be done still waiting for their quotation. So my choice left with 2 only. Choosing is all about how comfortable when you talking to the ID. Feel whether he is speaking the truth. Any recommendation from SBF or friends. Compare quotation price check for hidden cost. Is he hiding something from you?

EMacP, Your house condition is abt the same as mine also. I believe your kitchen & toilet flooring is mosaic (SMALL green type) , your rest of your hse flooring should be terazzo rite. 15K should be enough to do a not bad reno liao. you interested to know?
