My Understanding for placing "guan yin" at home is a bit different. I just share my view. The position to place "guan yin" statue criteria 1) Best is to overlooking the whole living room. ie. Facing door, window, overview anyone entering the house. 2) Against solid wall aka good mountain location.

But i dunno about the noise created by the road and MRT? I doubt that the noise created consider as water. My View is (9)South - Direction Element: Fire (Road Element: Water, Water Element Clashes with Fire Element) (4)South West - Direction Element: Earth (Road Element: Water, Earth Element Clashes with Water Element) (2)West - Direction Element: Metal (Road Element: Water, No connection) I'm not so well versed in timely star if i understand wrong please enlighten me. I only know that the timely star for 2011 is 8 , 9 , 1. Timely Auspicious Star is at 8 Sheng Qi is at 9 , 1, But the part that confusing is at (9)South. Cos it happens to be at "三煞" area, "声煞". i agree with mae29 and thanks for reminding the annual influence date. Whether South, Southwest, West of your house is it affected by "声煞", i can't confirm. try answering the following question. 1. Is it very noisy when the MRT comes by everyday? 2. Does it affect your daily life or mood? 3. Is the road outside your window noisy also? 4. Does it affect your daily life or mood? 5. If yes for question 2 or 4, then that 3 direction of your house is somewhat affect by "声煞" 风水学上化解声煞的方法是在向着噪声之处安防一个葫芦或挂两串麒麟风铃 You also need to take note of your North, East and Center of your home. In General Feng Shui term, - Your Stove is not opposite your basin (Still Alrite) - Your Bed End is not facing toilet or door (Still Alrite) - Your MBR Bed is facing your TV set, I still don't think it is good. Nope, mine is an ID. Producing just a lump sum is not a problem, more importantly is to break down into individual item. Only in a breakdown form then you can check what have been missed out. It's just a question of trust. Take the lighting for example, they can fix the downlight for you but wiring charge you extra by saying it is not in the contract or you previously din say mah. currently i'm using the Karcher SC952, bought it around $60+ at Homefix. But i feel that the pressure is not strong enough. another karcher model SC 1122 is having a much higher pressure rating. maybe u can opt for that if u have higher budget if not u can try the SC 952. But a point to take note: remember to cover the electrical wiring with newspaper so that the water won't short circuit the system. Pull out the aircon plug or switch off the isolator of your aircon before maintenance.

I dun have any issue cleaning my mum's starmex. if u want to do dry cleaning, 1. Prepare a vacuum cleaner, a painting brush (20mm or 40mm) will do the job. 2. After removing the fin, use the painting brush to clean the dust out of the blower. 3. While doing that use the vacuum cleaner to suck the dust from the blower. That's the dry way. If you think it's not clean enough you can go for wet cleaning. For wet cleaning, either use steam cleaner or concaire cleaner. 1. I actually tried both way, steam cleaner and concaire cleaner. Alas i prefer using steam clean coz it is cheaper and no chemical smell after cleaning. I chose Karcher steam cleaner as it is more reputable. 1. you can clean not only the blower, it could be use for the coil also. 2. recently then i discovered that you can even drip few drop of essential oil in the water. Eg.tea tree oil. Helps in adult or children with sinus problem. 3. You can even clean it weekly whenever u have the time. ** In my opinion it would be cleaner if u do the dry cleaning step follow by wet cleaning.

When it comes to kitchen cabinet. You need to see how many ft that you requires, Top + Bottom. When you know the number of ft needed. 2 yrs ago i did mine for $110 per feet. Roughly market rate for kitchen cabinet is $90-$130 per ft, For Solid Surface market rate should be around $80-$110 per ft. Remember workmanship counts, dun just think of cheap cheap cheap.

Hmm.. Although i din buy my curtain from that shop but my custom-made sofa cushion was done there. Workmanship is still ok. Price is quite Ex. But if u are looking at curtain, roller binds etc.. you can try the shop near lavender food center, shop name: MGL Curtain & Furnishing. My curtain was done by them, price is reasonable, so far 2 years passes still good and sturdy.. You can go and compare the prices before making decision.
