My kitchen is with default HDB pink tiles. I've chosen the following colour combination for my L shape kitchen Bottom cabinets: Burgundy (Glossy) Kitchen Granite top: Blue Pearl or Emerald Pearl (both are almost dark grey/black) Top cabinets: Silver (Glossy) Backsplash: White tempered (didn't chose black because the kitchen top is already dark) Hob: Black tempered glass. That's true, but really I can't get any oher alternative. Does this means, hood is MUST? If not for the its real usage, but for the protection of cabinet laminates above.

I also thought of that, but didn't know the pricing. However, Cuizino hood, the lowest end I am getting at $210. The price difference is not much. Any other opinions?

Looking at all the replies, I feel it is not a good idea to go for rainshower with instant heater. No point spending that much amount.

Thx. Does this mean, basically rain shower is good for direct water supply only? For hot water, do I need a separate set of shower head with mixer? Sorry, I am unaware of all these stuffs...

No plan to run hot/cold pipe. Planning to buy only instant heater. Is it anyhow possible to put rainshower with instant heater?

personally i dun hv any trust with GC. While enquiring earlier for my aircon, I contacted 2 different branches and both gave me 2 different pricing, both non-nego. Later I used another co and I'm satisfied with them.
