we went to sin lek for the marble.. the name is start wit D.......... $16.50 + $2 for waterproofing den a 5% discount somehow above our budget. but since this price comes with dry lay so ok la.. so one dat i like alot but the price is $18 no dry lay.....

Marble this is the marble we saw and will be viewing the dry lay on monday its the same marble but under the lighting............................ any suggestion? this one got alot of red lines on it but dunno whether is it nice after the dry lay......

Plastering Stairs area I went there and see so many people working... of course i was feeling happy.. so i asked them wad would you all like to drink, and their ans was. anything. so ok.. i suggest redbull or coke.. they say DUNNO!! like so hard to please la!!!!

HELLO!!!! finally i got the time to update abit here... in 3days they finish the cement screed, kitchen floor tiles, level1 toilet wall tiles, plastering of 3bedrooms and the stairs area.. consider very fast.. but it can be faster de lo.. monday build in the door frame.. electric man cme remove all the wires tuesday only call 1tiler and 1plastering man. wednesday 1tiler 3plastering man. hopefully the tiling can finish by next week cause till now i still haben see the parquet... Last day of hacking Cement screeding ok dats me measuring the wall and i guess this is wad the man is doing when he's having his break.........

seems like alot ppl here likes the black and white thingie... but maybe not for me la..... i think my blog consider quite boring la.. not much pic yet, unless u all wanna see those cement and sand..... tml they will be doing the plastering and the flooring. so i guess it will take another 1weeks den the carpentry?? i oso dunno... this contractor sometime oso last minute de... but so long i can shift in by new year can liao....

Hey wendy. 20% of 70K is 14K u mean do all the tiling? got include the tiles or u supply urself? my first ID asked for 10% so its 7K my hacking is 5K remaining 2K they help us get the alumix so no loss... have to fully utilize the money and oso make sure they dun anyhow do cause they knoe after this no more $$ to earn from you liao... as for electric... today the men come remove all the wires.. the re-run of all the wire dat my hb requested he charge total 4K but the socket switch we will have to buy ourself.. Hope u have a smooth reno too!!

thanks thanks!!! at first it wasn't really smooth till i come in to the webbie and check things out. *though hb got this account long long ago but he lazy*and i kinda sacrifice my sleep time to source things out.. cause i kinda really no need to work only look after my 4month old boy... so i am my hb contractor la... LOL

This house did a reno 11years back which is ard 1998... The owner is a contractor himself... initially we want to ask him for reno but cause they shifting to bungalow and he is doing his own reno so no time.... so i think the skill is there de lo.. further more is own house... maybe checked black and white is not my type but my kitchen will mainly be black and white..

Thanks!!! yeah its a ground floor EM. initially we are looking for top floor corner unit but dun have... so hubby say since cant get top floor den get first floor... **like fake ang mo chu** The window and grills are in good condition just dat hubby dun like the color and design. We might change to those horizontal aluminum grills.. We got ppl intro marble floor with parquet skirting.. but i find marble skirting nicer but hb likes it another way.. -.-"

HELLO!!! hahahaha... ur contractor didnt manage to close my deal cause of the time frame. yeah, i somehow become my own contractor liao. but is a very tiring job.... So far i paid 7K to an ID. they did all the hacking of wall, floor tiles and those unwanted tiles. initially was a 70K reno and the 7K was the deposit but i find it too expensive so after the hacking the remaining 2K ask them get the alumix WIW pole for us... Now we have this contractor done the cement screed and water piping for us. total collected $5500. Tomorrow my homo tiles will come. *buy myself, he only quote us labour* Parquet he supply but still haben see stock. Marble we supply but on waiting list for dry lay... Monday electric man will come remove all the wiring.. Aircon still no news. ask me to wait till 2Jan den got slot. but monday will call their office again..
