Hi leen, thank you for your info... I will very much wanted to try the food that U recommented... but don't think I can affort to spent so much waiting time ... I only have one day free and easy... any places can recomment for cheap and good things...

to me.. I think the weather should be ok la... because my own family went to Korea during winter time... went to the skating center that was snowing... good experience... I went to China to see the ice crafting too... Go on 15 Dec is to suit my HB schedule... you can see the scenery outside lor then take a photo with the bullet train lor. oh is it... the staff that served us said can't see anything ... so theire company think it will be better to bring us around by the bus... luckily never listen to her... My girl likes to eat "xiao long bao" ... we must go there and compare the different.... Don't think I will go there and buy the silk... it should be expensive.... but my neighbour that just came back from there also tell me to buy silk lor... I think most of the freebies given during the fair were from Master or VISA cards.... when I booked the tour other than the laggage bag and back pack... the freebies given were 5 x small bag (can put tooth bursh type) , 5 lucky draws (2 x laggage bag belt, 1 x cd bag, 1 x laggage bag tag, 1 x little bag for the make up)... And the price is no different whether booked from fair or not...

I am going on 15 Dec.... SIA is at least $200 more ex than others... even their tax is $255...GA only $180... I think the taxi driver was all out to cheat... Ya... bullet train is one of the item my HB said must have... the other is going up the pearl tower... That day at the Nata fair... one company... better don't mention their name... told us that the bullet train got nothing to see one.. so they didn't include... the pearl tower also nothing to see one... they didn't include... in my heart ... I was thinking... everywhere also nothing to see... I go there for what... the worst thing is they charge 3% more if pay by VISA... others paid by VISA got free gift... I got the 20" laggage bag from OCBC and a back pack from VISA...

Oh is it ? even I knew that I didn't want to keep the kitchen cabinet from my buyer... I didn't ask them to remove ... ya.. may be should ask them to remove it so that save $$$ for dismetle it...

Oh... I thought normally the built in cannot remove ... must leave it to the buyer ??

Ya... I regreted for spending too much $$$ on my 3rd house built in... the whole house are all built in... even all the beds for 3 bedrooms ... when I shifted house... the things that need to move are the sofa and dinner set...

Those who get designer must give them the "space" for designing... if U input your idea... that's your design... not his... I didn't let the designer have a chance to express his creativity... because I have already stated that I want something that's simple and practical.. what I can say is the designer only follow my instruction and that's explain why the drawings need to change so many times...

That's depend.... this is my 4th house after marriage... I quite regreted to do so much built in (design) to my 3rd house... waste my $$$... and don't think the design has add value to my sale... because what I like might not suit others taste...

To me... I don't go for design... I go for practical... design always cost more $$ and more things need to maintain... I mean more area need to be clean... I am a lazy person... only do minimum...

The package I booked is the cheapest among all companies that I asked.. 1st person $548 .. 2nd person $298... it is by Garuda Air... I have friends that booked the shanghai tour with 5* and Jun Air.. hopefully mine is not too bad... The taxi is a problem there... then I will have big problem too... can't walk too far because my mum is going...

It all depends on how "strong" the acid is... homo tiles cann't use too strong acid...

No... I sold my EA and downgrade to a 5 rooms and I never pay any levy... but I never get loan from HDB..

Hi Cedric, didn't know that your ID is from Ideal House too... very nice house... I like the feature wall the most... cool...

In general granite is more expensive.... but U konw... every type also have cheap and expensive items... Not too sure about wall tiles... because I only choose the pattern I like within the price range that provided by the ID... Suggest U go to the tiles supplier and take a look... I got mine from SBH... Toh Guan road east.. just opposite IMM.... there are many type of tiles... and there are mook up kitchen and toilet... is worth to take a look... and U can ask the questions there...

Ya so far I am happy with the tiler... luckily my gap not as big as 3mm...otherwise I sure regret laying homo...

No lah... now the line between the homo tiles is very small also... that's why I lay homo... I just measure my homo line... is about 1mm only...

Hi, your floor plan is similar to mine.... that's why at first I also plan to put the shoe cabinate facing the main door.. because of listen to all the friend talking here... I change it to like that...

Mable is more expensive and it requires maintenance... wax regulatly to maintain its shine... it can absorb liquid easy... there was once I put the red paper... those type that old generation cut and make red packet ... and the colour just went in... after few years the marble becomes blur... U need to get someone to polish it... If U like natural stone... go for garnite will be a better choice... Homo tiles... other than the line between the tiles... I find it is easier maintain than mable...

Actually I ordered a shoe cabinet ....planed to put as what U said directly facing the main door... but after reading so many posting here said that is no good... I cancelled the booking... and ordered another cabinet that can put by the side... but hor... someone also said that shoe cabinet should not be seen at the corridor... but that is after I shifted in that I read this... too late lor..

My HB loves it ... my family too... my son just reminded me the special promotion is ending by 30 Sep... hinding to me he wants to go ... I like the curry beef pepper rice set... my girl will ask for extra cheese and corn...

Ya.. ID is very important... somehow the reno cann't be so smooth that everything done as U want... so long as U are happy with the end result I think that's most important... the in between problem and solution should be handle by the ID...
