we get him to come down n look at the exact place and jus give him the floor plan while he writes down our requests. better this way as he can directly tell us what can and cannot be done or what need or need not be done. he was not tat busy busy then lah (but still busy!), so maybe he dun hv e time to go on site now..... u can fax him ur floor plan and tok to him abt ur requests over the phone also, jus not tat accurate on the quotation lor. hope this helps!

the WIW is from my ex owner. Uncle only do up the black feature wall w e 2 white doors, he quote me $1600 and it is full height from the floor up to the ceiling, dunno how many feet hee~

haha! he was so tired after tat, esp he has to manually screw in all the holes, no electric drill lor. hehe! ur hubby in RSAF right? mine too. Jason was telling us RSAF ple like to DIY.. haha! the Galant tables do look sturdy now but dunno how long it'll last. we jus need 5 years! haha! it is said to have 10 years warranty though but well...... yes there'll be suspended book shelves but will get them later on, no $$$ now haha! we r eyeing at Effektiv (wall cabinet w doors) 8 of them cost ard $1000+ already.... it is quite convenient staying near ikea, can like jus pop by every now n then!

More stuff from Ikea...well well as most of u shd know, budget and diy are our middle names, hence we got our home office tables from Ikea as well. our loot on Sat we refused to pay $55 for delivery charge especially when we lived so near Ikea Tampines (like 10mins walk?) and we dun wanna wait 3 days so we pushed our loot to e carpark and aimed at those customers w Big lorry and asked if they can 'dong pang' us with a minimal fee from us. and lucky us! one very nice uncle agreed! yeah! and so hubby spent e rest of Sat fixing these Galant Office tables yes, we need space for 3 Pcs, 1 iMac, 1 notebook, 1 32" TV and 1 mac book pro coming up! roughly how it'll look like when shelves are up.. ( a bit different for table layout) any lobang for cheap n pretty office chairs? preferably below $100 with high back rest

we still couldnt decide what kinda dining table we wan. and 1 day the dining room might be converted to a proper room hence we got a high dining table from Ikea to be flexible for some space planning in future and a place to have our meals for now. in the see thru dining room for now (Orange Room!) in the kitchen as an island (Mock Up!) a bit cram though...

we also got appt w Uncle on Sat ard 10am and we waited to almost noon then he told us he was at ur place. we actually wanted to go over to catch him and kpo ard but thought not v nice lah hehe! now then i realise i walk past ur block whenever i visit ikea n giant. din know its jus there! wah u finally start ur blog! i wait very long liao! blue_diamond yes yes we got the cellini package too. we paid $3169 total as we upgrade to King Size bed and got their nightingale mattress as well. so far so good, jus tat the sofa n bed material is suede so dust r quite easily visible, but still easy maintenance lah. Their mattress also not bad wor. i would say it is a really good buy unless u mind many ple getting the same stuff as u hehe! u can go to my blog to view some pics u wan
