me too, i have IDs quoting me 25k and Uncle Ah Soon only quote me $13k with lots of freebies here n there. but he is really jus a contractor, you hv to tell him exactly wat to do and he'll give advices here n there. also he is too busy to accompany u to select tiles, or during tiling, plumbing, painting etc we ourselves hv to keep a lookout ourselves but it's not a big prob anyway Uncle Ah Soon is really a nice guy hehe!

Shiok man, a balcony jus for their toys! even now when i leave some of my stuffs at the balcony, my father will jus throw them back to my room when i went for work *sad* cant wait to move out and have a place which really belongs to me! haha Same for me, i cannot get used to other parts of sg. i am an easterner for good! previously i got an offer for a job in Kranji and though the traveling time is long but it's from mrt to mrt so i tot not so bad and took up the offer. and i seriously cant get used to northern area and ple and quit within 2 weeks! haha! now i am happily working in loyang and staying in pasir ris. it cant get any better! hehe :D

Hubby and I kept ourselves very busy wif this over the weekend.... haha We painted our own wrought iron window grille!! OMG! From the original ugly green to metalic red. Uncle was unable to provide us the red u wanted, so we got those spray cans off the shelves and paint them on our own! as tedious as u can imagine! The wrought iron was so very heavy for both of us to dismantle it first, place them nicely on the ground, paint one side, flip to the other and worst of ALL put it back UP! so this is our output. we have to give ourselves a big pat on our shoulders man! Sorry for the poor lighting, bad camera flash! i totally love the color!!!

my FS master din say ke leh, he say Gold is neutral to Wood, but Wood will aid Gold right? tat is y i always tell my hubby i 'wang' him haha

totally same as us!! Hubby strong Gold, me strong Wood (BIG tree in fact!!) our FS master say Red and Green are good for us. so we r concentrating on more red very nice hse u got there!
