wow! so its not only me! my basin was also almost installed wrongly, lucky i was there and stopped them too. they think we dun hv to work lor, have to standby 24hrs. but anyway, it might be worse for other contractors, thankfully we still have Uncle Ah Soon to oversee

as seen on the pics, Jason chose the same laminate as my MBR feature wall, mixture of black n white. my initial idea was jus purely white, but it kinda looks ok to me so i actually accepted the color but NOT the measurements. but now i decided to let him know if i wanna change after my bed is in, see if my bed can help to cover up the 'bulkiness' lor. pls let jason show u his drawings n measurements and let him inform u when the carpentry starts lor. for my case, he didn't. even during plumbing, painting and re-wiring.... we were not informed at all. when we ask, he told us the wrong days lor. i waited the whole day for the electricians to come and then was told have change day le.

yes i agree! Jason luvs to make his own decision! tats y there's so much rectification on my carpentry. he didnt even checked the size and kind of laminate i wan for my dresser and the next min it was already fixed on my wall......

oh the uncle with tattoo on his hand is one of my painters too. He is botak and a bit petite right? he is the nicest of all liao leh. there are 2 other painters i met, 1 rather thin Malay guy and 1 big size Malaysia guy. The big size one is the most headache one lor. Wah Uncle's workers so happening one...**** drama. I hv Jason's no jus find him not tat helpful at times. Uncle Ah Soon is still the BEST!! hehe! Hope he get well real soon!

today i asked the painter (he was here alone for the final coat) to paint my pipes again. he made a few calls and told me tat 'Boss (Jason) say paint pipes have to charge xtra' and kept complaining tat he couldnt even finish the rest of the painting today but i saw him on the phone every 20 mins or so..... towards the end of the day, there's still a lot to touch up to do but we jus let him go cos i cant be bothered to tok to him le and before he left, he actually ask me to buy a brush and paint the pipes myself.... so i am wondering.... i actually requested my pipes to be in granite, same as my living hall. can use the leftover paint right? or do Uncle mean tat the pipes can only be painted in white? tats y i hv to be charged xtra? hai~ these few days hv been bad lor. workers spitting in my newly installed kitchen sink, electricians breaking my lights, @$%^ painter who used my MBR toilet to wash his paint bucket and dun even bother to clean up, my sink was GREEN and floor was PINK when he left....

haha! fannie din turn up, she flew my aeroplane... must be influenced by Uncle! haha! *kidding hor*

oh so Uncle will bear the replacement cost ah? My lights was also broken during installation..... the 3 electricians are really bad imo. Even the head, he also a bit blur. I ask him to relocate my existing phone line to elsewhere and he didn't. When i ask him to do it the next time i saw him, he jus add another one in the room with NEW trunking lor. So now tat room has SO many ugly trunkings and 2 phone lines...... weirdness..

no doors also no use. my toilet doors were installed last and still i see big and small business done in my MBR toilet! So i taped up my basin and toilet bowl after asking my hubby to wash throughly with a big note ' PLS USE KITCHEN TOILET' in English, Chinese and Malay! i suspect my rainshower was also used lor!! so i taped my bathmixer too! again with a note 'DO NOT USE' in English, Chinese and Malay!! Tat very day when my kitchen basin and tape was installed, the electrician Uncle actually coughed and spit into the basin lor, i stare at him and he jus say, someone will wash one lah! i was so angry tat i used plastic to wrap up the whole basin, tap and hob! I make sure no one will do tat again!! Simply cannot stand these workers lor. Got common toilet to use dun wan, purpously have to use our MBR toilet and kitchen to upset us.

mine still got a hole torn at the corner lor. Classic! looks like u got quite good discount!

like i told preciousjam, we only did very simple reno. spend only $13k. so i think mine does not justify Uncle Ah Soon's work and results but if u still keen. Feel free to come. I'll pm u my contact and u jus sms me lah hehe

PMed u the tap is the most extravagant thing i bot for my hse so far! the rest are really cheapo package and so hubby agreed to let me hv this for once! yah its exp , ard $250. at least helps me to 'brighten' my old kitchen abit
