Unless you are considering to have it child-proof. Anyway my boy got ard that too by monitoring us adults, hence he figured out a way to open the cabinets eventually. Btw registered for season parking at our estate, was informed we had to choose between either 219 or 220 carpark, can't have best of both

Hmm ... same problem here too which I juz kind of juz bear with at the moment, guess the flushing not 'powderful' enuff. Anyway noticed the discolouring of the bowl too. Turning reddish ... Btw, Kelv. We're in the same blk.

Well, that's what I did anyway. FOC as part of thw whole reno since we doing false ceiling. Can't have one side of the wall long and the other short, will make the false ceiling weird. And by the way, my ID actually conceal the actual cable (tv) point, so the other day Starhub personnel came down to enable my cable tv, they actually will check the whole house and indicate at every point that the cable (tv) point is enabled. And advise for all is plse do not terminate your cable tv account from the old house, Starhub will enable your cable points at new house FOC (I fax the hdb letter indicating i got the keys). No new sign-up allowed, Note that before Starhub enabled the cable tv points, your tv is able to tune to RTM2 & TV3 but not RTM1, upon activation, is able to tune to RTM1 and the usual channels but you will lose free coverage to RTM2 & TV3 (unless using boosters)

Yup, the more the merrier! Anyway got to know my whole level neighbours. 2 of them have started their reno, 2 have come and look-see after getting their keys. Guess I'm expecting more noise (hacking/drilling) soon hehe.

Welcome Kelv, nice to see someone from the same blk too, cya ard!

Estimated window length is abt 3 metres. So give and take, it shld be ard 12 metres total. Not too sure how much will whole hse cost since I only got the rods installed.
-
Heard they have another installation in our estate this coming Sat also, was told by the lady when I bought my curtain rods there. Passed the items to my contractor instead to fix them up for me (FOC mah)

For new estate usually HDB will throw out tender for the Haulage service, and so for our estate Mr. Lim is the appointed one. Even if u need any hacking services (certified PE required), they can also provide the service. Got it! Thanks Ryan! It'll be great to see exactly how the PD door cum shower screen looks like, seriously considering to get mine done too. Anyway saw on the PD website that they can modify the CD Shelter door to PD lourve, are we allowed to remove the original CD shelter door?
-
Can pass me no of the contact person (PD door), thanks. Same sentiments too for the MBR toilet door. Wonder who is the designer that recommend HDB to install dat kind of door
-
Must be great especially during the sudden downpour, got myself all drench instead. But the good news is that I confirmed that the service yard area is not affected at all by the rain.
-
Congrats on your key collection earlier today, pretty much excited now yah!
-
Haha ... not bad, not bad at all! So any plans for bicycle lots for our estate?
-
Well, I would suggest against wifi N especially with super booster (If i recall correctly every room has the cable point right?). For purpose of internet sharing / File sharing yeah its good, but over the long run start counting your hair or how much is left. Frens from the telecommunication side are all complaining of hair thining and hair loss. Some even has teories on how exposures to radar systems are affecting the gender outcome of their offsprings. (Most have daughters). Of course there's the cycle counting thing etc etc but I'll just leave it at this.

Seems we have the same cooker, although mine yet to be installed. Model was recommended by my contractor for the spiral inner flame feature. So did u get fujioh hood as well?

Hi there, A warm welcome to the LG community! Yup me too hoping to move in by end of mth, cya ard the neighbourhood! By the way yesterday confirmed that both ground level units of Blk 221C, occupants have moved in. At least won't feel so lonely when ard the blk.
-
Congrats on the purchase! Don't worry there'll be more sales to come ... And at each passing sale, the hands will itch and wallets shivering more often hehe or at least mine did
-
Wow! Got to applaud u for the effort! However, for the so called bargain price, did they reduce the warranty period. Usual ones comes with 2-3 yrs warranty, I suppose they'll give 1 yr instead for this price?
-
Any compensation from them for the delay? Perhaps some upgrades of items
-
Yokoyoko: Wow! That's a quick reply, was juz going thru my post & still editing them hehe Btw, checked my mailbox earlier today. Received the very 1st SP services bill. Jaw almost drop when I saw $118.06 but then realised the $100 deposit, phew!

(1) Megaman - currently I'm using them (2) Golden Pace Enterprise (3) Energy Mad Limited (4) Panasonic Anyone intending to get this device? Usefulness ... yes but lets say it can help u adjust your usage to save $20 a mth, it take at least 10 mths before u break even from purchasing the device (cost $200). Perhaps we cld share and juz buy 1 such device.

Need some feedback from fellow forumers here. Down with 2 options for hob & hood (based on size that I want). (1) Fujioh (2) Turbo Fujioh though slightly on a higher price, is recommended. Japan quality product. Turbo is cheaper & I'm not really into much cooking. Appreciate your feedback, thanks.

Guess I got to keep my fingers crossed then. Bought TV and microwave oven from them some time back. Was thinking since their outlet (bedok) is conveniently juz behind our estate, thought cld get a few more items there. Guess I got to weight the pros & cons before that. Anyone had bad experience with Gain City? Saw their price are somewhat cheaper too compared to Courts/Best Denki/Harvey Norman. Similar trading style to Parisilk? Agreed. Spent 1 wasteful day going to Courts Toa Payoh, Tampines Mall & Tampines Megamart when I saw a simliar ad in the newspaper. And the best part is when I asked the salesperson, he told me all the promo sets are snapped-up the day before Why then the need to advertise in the papers then!

I'm into transformers and is currently looking ard for a display cabinet. So far have checked these few:- (1) Ikea - they have one at $99 but without key lock (2) V-hive - price range from $150 onwards (3) The green - the better quality of the lot but price starts from $499 onwards Are u looking to display your gundams too? Ideasmiths/spidey: I too will be ard the estate as well, perhaps we can all meet-up & share tips
