I am there almost every other week to look see. The Verte is a much bigger project so I guess it requires more time. The other project is so small only...

Personally, I owned both the Panasonic Plasma TV and Sharp LCD TV. Trust me, go Plasma cos the picture quality is way way better... unless utilities bill is your top priority then LCD is the way to go.

Actually TK is "acquired taste". Its either you love it or hate it. Indeed the roads are cramp and parking for guests is a problem but I guess thats common among all landed areas throughout Singapore. As TK is made up of so many lorongs, you have to be selectively which one you would prefer. Those closer to East Coast (Lorong N) or those closer to Mrt (Lorong G,H). Even then, within the lorong itself, it stretches from still road side to the park connector side. Most of the units are pretty close to each other but there are some developments better than others. If you do a search, the common gripes are "crampiness", lack of facilities and monotonous exterior. If you can get over these, I think TK is the cheapest, value for money Freehold properties in D15. Personally I like TK especially those near to the park connector and TK park cos it has that serene and peaceful feel to it. Thats why I think Verte is one of the premium developments in TK.

How big is your area? I think its quite ex looking at the individual items.

No, not yet. Mine will be completed around the same time as yours. Same developer, same construction company, resources all share share...

Seems like Verte will not be done in May. They are only starting on the foundation. Maybe end of this year more likely.

I think he is the same guy from another forum going by the same nick that goes around passing negative remarks and claimed that he purchased a unit in Caspian in which he is very proud of... But dont see him around the other forum nowadays... maybe he infiltrated into this forum instead haha...

The Verte

I think it all depends on what you are looking for... There are always pros and cons for each location. Some people might prefer staying near the beach to lead a certain kind of lifestyle but they have to be contented with the noise coming from the ECP which is busy most of the time and it not being near any mrt. Unless you can afford buying multiple cars if not staying near mrt might be important to some. Of cos there is the affordability issues. TK I think has a relatively lower psf generally as compared other new developments in D15 due to its "not here not there and congested" location. So a balance has to be strike. -
I think not everyone is into apartments. Most of them prefer full condo facilities. I think there are some right in front that's covered. But I really think The Verte is one of the better projects in TK area if not for the price...

Yes, I went to the showroom before it was torn down. Finishings nothing to shout about. At the same showroom they are selling Ambra also. All the developments will share the same finishings and colour scheme.

Opposite your project...

Yup. The sign board outside The Verte states that the expected TOP is May 2010. I have been looking around for ideas for havent been looking for ids yet. Its a bit early for me cos its still a long time away. Think my taste would have changed by then... also I haven't got hold of the actual floor plan so its difficult to get ids to quote.

Not yet, should TOP around the same time as yours... go visit some of those websites like apartment therapy etc and you should be able to get some inspirations from there...

You bought a unit? I thought I last saw your posting asking about that development and you fast hand fast leg bought it? Congrats... So actually there are still units available?

Yes, I too quite like The Verte cos its situated right next to TK park and the park connector. Its also within walking distance to the mrt yet has that rustic feel to it. I've tried walking from there to the mrt which is 7 mins including the wait at the traffic lights and to walk to East Coast Park takes about half an hour. But unfortunately, the asking price is quite high and the units are quite big. -
The dining light is indeed nice cos it will cast a certain shadow on the walls.

Mine will only TOP end of next year so its a long wait. So hows the sourcing for reno coming? Any luck so far?
