Based on my knowledge of antique Buddhas, this should not have happen. It is probably not an antique buddha. Probably is mould and fungus that has set in. What u can do is clean it up and spray with Lysol - it may help

I dont know abt imitation classic designer furniture. But I buy mine from Fusion Interiors at Kaki Bukit Rd 1. Beautiful stuff, gd finish, teakwood, classic designer furniture and yet cheaper then other shops in the high end areas based on the quality and design of their products.

I bought mine made from Burmese Teakwood. Never had a problem of flies or moulds or even termites. The finish is also very good with a *****. Bought mine from Fusion Interiors. They are at Enterprise One. Somewhere at Kaki Bukit Rd 1. Cant remember the unit number but there is a showroom dircetory that u can refer to when you get there. The quality of their furniture is very good and much cheaper then Dempsey or parkmall. Should try it. I have not regretted buying my furniture from them. Hope this helps

I also recently bought a custom made Buddha handcrafted wall piece from a shop in Kaki Bukit Rd 1. Fusion Interiors. It only cost me $ 750 and it was a beautiful piece - 5 ft by 4ft. I have no regrets. Maybe u shld take a look there. They have some other art pieces as well

Yes tats true, no point reupholster bcos u dont know whether the wood they used on your old sofa will last as long. For all u noe that will be the next to crack up. Go to a few furniture areas like Enterprise one, Home station or parkmall and spend some time looking around. Be wary of persistent sales people, as these are the people that will promise the world just to make a sale. You just have to be smarter then them lah. Cheers

Go to Fusion Interiors in 1 Kaki bukit rd 1, enterprise one, 01-32. Saw them selling their designer glass cabinets made from burmese teakwood at marked down prices. Cheers

I feel very sorry for you. There are many people nowadays who sell cheap quality furniture and will tell u tat it is of very good quality. rather then asking people in the forum, why dont u start searching in the net for some companies tat do upholstery. Check them out yourself and decide which seems trustworthy and reliable. Remember there is no such thing as cheap and good.
