Hi all! Been busy with work and finalizing the contract and design with my ID in the past few weeks so was not able to update. Now I officially announce that the design has been confirmed and work will start next monday! Just wana share the bedroom set that we got from picket and rail. Hope to be finally able to update regularly from now on. Nope, sofa not from picket and rail, its from a sofa shop on the 3rd floor of the IFC. Hi, we have been there before already. Think we will most likely get our accessories from there only. The furniture is a little too country for us. hahaha

Turf city has country shop? Will go check it out, thanks! We already have white dining chairs le.. they considered castle themed? Our reno going to start only after CNY so it will take a while before i can show anything here..

Hiya, sorry for not updating, as we were busy with other stuff. Still havent done much except for getting our hood, hob, oven and storage heater. No pics for them cos nothing special for them. However, we got our sofa already, and I took a photo of the display set of the piece we are getting~ We are getting a 3 seater, and the one in the pic is a 2 seater. However, we are getting the same print and color tho. Damage is $940 with 2 15" cushions~ Duno worth the price or not.. but we love this sofa..

Yeah, easy to maintain is very high on our priority list. cos we are very very nua people Sorry, no pictures at the moment~

Thanks thanks. Yeah, I hope I can find all the pieces of furniture off the shelf bah. Actually, now we thinking more of modern country than the traditional country style after seeing quite a few shops specializing in country style furnishings/design. Would like a cleaner touch to it.

Oh that's too bad.. Come to think of it, he did mention that his carpenter can't do too country style furniture and said that its better for me to get ready made pieces outside. Anyway, I think I spotted most of the pieces I want outside already, and it should be cheaper than customising it ba.... I hope..

We shortlisted the bedframe from the country shop, maybe will get the bedside table and a chest of drawers for the bedroom from there too.. As for the sofa, we saw this shop on the 3rd level with a fabric sofa with floral prints. The cushions are very firm and feels like much better quality that those at ikea. Anyway, I think maybe will drag my ID down with me after we have signed the contract ba.

This shop is right at the entrance. Something sanctuary one. It sells mostly modern furniture, but that particular piece fits just nice for us, I feel. Yeah, we also kinda shortlisted a sofa set and bedframe at IFC too~ But its different shops tho.

I don't know if my ID does a single shoe cabinet or not, but no harm contacting him bah~ We will be shopping ard for a suitable shoe cabinet, if we cnt find any, then we will just have to get our ID to custom make one bah. That's weird.. I think you would like this dining table too.. He haven't given me a quote yet as we are still in the designing phase, so I can't help you there. But if you are interested, I think you can contact him directly bah, he is quite a nice person to talk to.

Yep, we fell in love with it at first sight~ It's $999 for the table and 6 chairs, but we got them to custom make a matching bench for the dining table set for an additional $280. Not exactly cheap, but we think it's worth it~
