Wow, what happened Mickey? I read about your progress and was quite surprised. Did you have a good talk with Loyd over this? -
hi rondy, i dun think so leh.. i only read but dun comment on current affairs forum one.. hahaha..

Our color schemes are in without colors also. When we were choosing the color scheme, he already had some color combination in mind. So he showed us a paint catalogue thingy, pointing to us the scheme that he has in mind. He described to us what effect will each color give, ie warmer, cooler, etc and we just decided from there. Anyway, i must say that the color combi that he came up was fantastic when it was up. if you need to visualise it, i think u can ask him for a colored copy of 3D drawings bah. we didn't do that cos we are very clueless with color combis anyway.

Hahaha.. then its a case mistaken identity then~ I just love goldies~ heeee..

My unit is the outward facing one, so i doubt we can see each other.. hahaha.. urs facing inwards? Yeah, we get occasionally last min postponement of appointments too. so i know wat u mean by feeling sian. hahaha but the good thing is that he listens to wat we want and ultimately delivers more than wat we expected.. so rest assured that ur place is in good hands.

Hi JandG, just read your reno blog and despite the ups and downs during the reno process, the end product is fantastic! Saw your post on your dog, Summer, and I also have a friend, whose golden retriever is also named Summer. Just wondering if your Summer is a female, and is super super friendly (pounce on people kind. hahaha!)..

Hi Mickey, Thanks! Actually moving in means start of the cleaning process. hahaha.. the table cloth is just there to protect the dining table during our messy dinner, it is usually off, we find its super ugly too.. hahaha.. I went to ur t-blog and realised that we are kinda neighbours and u are using loyd too! ur place looks like its going to be a very nice place when it is completed! so how is ur experience working with him so far? Hi JanG, thanks for your compliments~ Actually wifey wants more floral patterns, so i had to restrict a bit. if not, the whole house going to have lots of flowers (you should see my plates.. all floral/fruits design )

Hello everybody! Finally back after a long busy period. Settled the wedding and officially moved in to our new place already. First few weeks was non-stop cleaning and getting used to. Anyway, here are some pics taken during a mini halloween party taken at our place. Can't wait for Christmas to come~

Hi xherion, Thanks for your comments. I think my ID engage a professional photograph bah.. I was not there during the photoshoot, so not very sure what camera was used. but its much better than my own photos.

-
Hahaha, I think no need la.. after all he did such a satisfactory job for us~ Thanks Angel~ wooo.. more country shops to visit! hahaha well, you can kiv him for ur next house? picture perfect, but will require loads of maintance.. hahaha
-
Weeee! my house is featured on my id's blog~ http://loydpek.blogspot.com/
-
thank! erhh.. i think that's pretty much all my pics le.. am out of pics to show le.. hahhaha
-
yeah, i think its easier to see the dust too.. hahaha.. but the main concern is that the white will turn yellow over the years loh.. we got all our curtains at goldenleaf at whampoa there.. they have quite a gd range of curtains.. as for the price, they lumped it all together so we dun really know the individual price for the bay window curtain..
-
We got our sofa from sal sal and no problems for us.
-
Thanks.. my wife got the country styled quilt from the lady who sells country stuff that goes around different malls.. not really sure of the pricing cos she got it.. hahaha.. she is chief country engineer.. hahaha..
-
Hi all, thanks for your encouraging comments.. after the comments from our relatives like "wah, clean until siao ah" and "super hard to maintain loh" and "aiyoh! why everything white?!?" its nice to hear comments like yours.. well, most of the credits should go to my ID.. anyway here is the last pic which is our bed
-
yeah, looking for all the right decor and furnishing took us quite some time... country stuff is not exactly common in sg yet.. that transformer wall + baywindow thingy took us ard 3~4k (cnt rem exactly le) Thanks guy77 Here's one more pic of the living room from the direction of my study
-
thanks for the wows~ Hi Rasp, the yellow "wall" is actually part of the wall cabinet, the opening is at the left side, at the entrance of the study room. if u look closely to the other pic, the white "wall" to the immediate left of the yellow "wall" is actually a hidden doorway to the study. wah, you got sharp eyes! hahaha! yeah, we dun have enuf books to fill up the both shelves, so had to get the photographer to cut and paste loh.. anyway, i'm thinking of using the bottom shelves as a mini wine rack.. should be dark enuf..
