hi, how much did you pay for the KDK ceiling fan?

Will be meeting my ID tomolo to see the 3D design. Hope it will be nice. The current owner have done a lot of modification to the original floor plan. Eg. Seal up current MBR door, open up new entrance from bedroom 2 to MBR. Remove Bedroom 2 door. Shifted kitchen door from right to left. We need to "restored" the house back to orignal except for the kitchen entrance which i intend to have it in the middle. I will have two rows of cabinet in my kitchen. I hope i can post more too but house not yet taken over. Will try to post some layout and 3D pics when i get hold of them.

Hi, I going to start this t-blog to document the stuff going to be done for my new house. I have stayed in my current house for nearly 8 years. It is in a fantistic location in Bukit Batok central, just opposite West Mall. It has great view, without any blockage, but somehow my kitchen was conquered by ants (parents living with us). Another reason for moving is that i worked in Changi, long travelling time to work. To cut story short me and my wife went for house hunting on one Sat in June 08 and signed the OTP the next day (super fast). The new house is a resale flat of 21 years old. Size is not bad - 121 sq m. The location is only 8 minutes walk to Redhill mrt. We paid $470k for the house. The COV is $32k . We hope the 2nd appointment can be on 17 Oct 08 because we are letting the owner to stay a month after the completion. That leave me with very little time for renovation. Possibly with only 6 weeks. I need to shift in before 2009. We have sourced a ID that we are confident that he will delivered the good within the stipulated time (fingers crossed). This is our floor plan.

Hi, i was quoted $195 without installtion for KDK AY11S low ceiling fan. Is this price the norm for this model?

hmm, that's around 5 to 6 weeks. I believe you can request for the earliest date by writing in or telling the officer during the first appointment. Mine first is on 5 Sep, hope mine 2nd can be around 1st week of Oct.

Hi, after you attend the first appointment are you inform immediately when is your 2nd appointment?

I also same suitation as you. We allowed the seller to stay a month after 2nd appointment. I need to move in before the new year start as my daughter is going to Primary 1. Mine first appointment is 5 Sep, hope mine second appointment is 4 to 5 weeks then i have around 5 weeks for renovation. very rush.

how much is your renovation cost?

i think light sensors selling 3 hanging for ard 200 bucks. yours are 5 hanging.

my friend recommend me to Matrix Concept which is also at Beauty World. I have seen his quotation seems to be ok. Might make an appointment with them this Sunday. If you go Beauty World can try to get a quote from them and compare.

I think either Roy is very busy or he is not keen in my home reno. Sms him three times to email the revised quote to me but no reply at all from him.

Hi rachel, have you got your quotation, is it within your expextation? So far I have shortlisted 7 ID and have met 6 of them. Below are the list: 1) Ideal design studio 2) Intradesign 3) Ideal house 4) Inzen 5) Fuse concept 6) Homeguide 7) Plush living I am already considering dropping three of them. I will not name them yet as i am still waiting for some revised quotation from them. Hope it is within my budget.
