Hi I am eagerly sourcing for contractor (on behalf) to do minor works on house (not my house though) works include: 1) repainting 2) removing and installing of new kitchen dish rack/washer 3) hacking of floor for all 3 rooms and re laying. 4) construct and build a reasonably large display cabinet 5) construct TV console and panel 6) other misc.... Please PM me your recommended contractors, preferably those you have tried before. I would appreciate if those IDs to not to PM me and recommend yourself, unless you have been engaged by some forum members here whom have a T Blog. (There are just too many RT members with only 1~10 posts and recommending this ID or this contractor but actually they are actually recommending themselves or their firms.) I prefer forum members that have tried the contractor/ID and then recommend them to me. That will be more realistic and beneficial. Many Thanks

hi newnyew, I remember you, I also didnt came in RT for almost 2years. I remember when I did my house reno you were very active in RT, think you were unhappy with your first contractor and change one in the end during halfway right ? (if i rememebr you correctl =p) anyway chance upon your thread, came in and wow, you are really talented in painting and designing, good job !

Yes....I know this problem must be solved if not i scared the pipes will cause major leakage... Yesterday night, I think i found the main source of the problem, is the kitchen basin tap, the knob is loose, I press hard to keep it stable and the noise and vibration stops....have already tighten the knob, seems like this problem is sloved...... ;) ;) thanks everyone for the advise

I am thinking it has to do with my kitchen bathroom toilet bowl too....when I flush the toilet bowl, the vibration and noise is loudest compared to other water points in my hse....tonight i shall try fiddle with the pump like you say, se if it works, pray it works

Hi all, Recently the stainless steel water pipes in my house has this problem. Whenever two sides is using the water, the water pipes vibrate slightly and makes a noise continously. Eg, I just flush the toilet bowl, thus it is refilling the tank, I on the tap water to brush my teeth, the noise will sound, and after the toilet bowl tank stops filling up water, the noise stops.... What is the problem ? How may I solve this ?

hmmm I dont mind the wait caus I would only need the reno to be done next year around June or July From what I read in the past (caus haven been active recently).... there is Mr. Lim or Mr Yeak that is quite famous around in this forum....
