Actually we have been trying to count.. and it's 11 or 12 we reckon..
-
A clearer picture of the zebra.

Actually chow chow can be very fierce!! They were used as guard dogs in china! She's a golden retriever.. A very gentle and friendly dog.. Too friendly actually, totally useless as a guard dog. She will probably play with the robber!!

BKK cost a bit more, whereas it's very cheap in Krabi. We bought it unframed, they just roll it up and packed it into a sturdy PVC pipe nicely and we got it framed back here in SG. Framing cost around 150 here so all in all it's about 200 plus only. We also bought a Botero Ballerini, the artist that does fat people painting.. The set that we have is the Professional "S" series. I think my sis got a discount during the recent Robinson christmas sale. Normal price is $472 for that set. Actually i'm quite a big fan of henckel knives..

It's a "she" actually.. and yeah, she looks a bit bewildered at her surroundings..

We saw the one in ikea too! But it's a print though, whereas our zebra painting is a oil painting. Bought it in Krabi when we were there a couple of years ago.. Oil painting are cheap in Thailand. We paid around 60 bucks for our painting and we saw a identical zebra painting in one of the local furniture shop and they were asking almost a thousand dollars for it!!

And esp for charemme. Our dog looking a bit blur in a new environment.

Had a small pre-christmas gathering last weekend.. Tried to do a roast chicken in the oven for the first time, turned out ok but can do better next time.. Here's the chicken in the oven. Close up shot Some of the food for the party.. My little Christmas tree in my overcrowded living room. Christmas present from my sister, a set of Henckel knives!!

I got a Krups espresso machine.. Not recommending it, it's in the service centre as I type now, going to collect it later.. Machine broke down within 3 months, but since I got it cheap at a warehouse sale I'm not complaining that much.. If I paid the full 1600+ retail price I would have made **** of a lot of noise.. Saw 2 or 3 people lugging in the same model when I was in the service center so yeah, not recommending Krups.. Get a Nespresso lah, you can jio jio the rest and do a group buy or something.. There are a few Nespresso fans out there..

Sorry for the late reply.. was busy preparing a small x'mas gathering for the past few days. The sink is from Bellari and if you are interested in the clock, there's a forummer selling it now, you might want to get more details from him/her..

hi charemme, can i know which shop did you go to get these decals? 10bucks sounds okie..

I just use a bit of brandy.. I don't use kahlua since the sponge fingers are already soaked in coffee, putting kahlua doesn't really make that much of a difference.. actually tiramisu doesn't involve any baking at all..
-
Hi angel, for tiramisu you can get away by using instant nescafe coffee. Can also use a bit of brandy, any brandy. Sponge fingers and mascarpone cheese can be bought at any ntuc nowadays. Just use your mixer to beat a fluffy egg white and you are halfway there.

What brand is the coffee machine? Jura? Those coffee machines you see in places like Taka or Tangs are home machines. If you buy those and put in office, sure break down very fast cos they are not meant for heavy duty usage like in a office environment, so it's not surprising to spend 8k for a commercial machine. Anyway, it's the company money, sure buy good one lah..
-
Buy lah.. It's small and portable.. Can use it at your current place and drink fab coffee liao..
-
kopi, if you are buying from overseas make sure you are buying from a country that uses 230V hor.. No point buying a US or Japan set that runs on 110V and still have to spend money to buy another transformer.
-
If you are looking for stainless steel deep double bowl sinks, try Bellari. Here's my sink.
-
hmmm... the clock DOES look interesting...
-
kopi, how much is your parquet's psf? have you considered solid timber?
-
Hi Seashell, Are you still sourcing for a granite top supplier/installer? I can recommend you the person I got my granite from. They have their own installer too. Lemme know if you are interested.

Why don't you talk to your agent nicely, ask him/her to pass you the new address of the previous owner, then paste a BIG BIG sign on your door that says.. "I am the new owner!! Old owner has moved to XXX address, please go and find him there!"

Sorry for the late reply! About the magnetic wood knife-block, we got it from US. The one in the kitchen is Wenge wood. Here's the actual thing And the one in the living room where we stick our keys is Zebrawood. You can see it in the background. Are you planning to keep knives or just need a normal magnetic block?
