  4. Welcome to RT ! Looking at your floor plan, i like the dining and living rm area...looks nice and big, space wise also easy to plan as squarish layout for bedrooms. Have fun renovating !
  5. Hello welcome to RT ! i like the layout of your master bedroom. the entrance in the middle is ok as it nicely partition the room into wardrobe space near toilet and bed space near window. nice leh!
  6. Chpt 19 : Sofa so good Here's our Lorenzo recliner sofa next to the coffee table from S&C. Another view showing the dining table showcasing the zebra painting done in oils we bought frm our honeymoon in Krabi We kinda over-did the carpets...here they all are...rolled up and waiting to be unrolled when we move in. Figured we wait to unroll, #1 item less to vacuum as we don't live there now. just realise we got carpets for all rooms Also in the pic is the glass side table for the common room, also from S&C
  7. Thanks for your compliments And yes...our goldie Summer is a girl..hehe but she's been trained not to pounce on pple..hee still super frenly doe. i think its the breed...goldies are just warm hearted dogs
  8. My electrician bought from Choo Chiang.. No LED indicator for all switches, except for the 20A switches which has LED indicators. Let me go find my price list.. You also need to factor in single and double power point switches, also 2 way switches, those cost a bit more than the normal 1-gang switches..
  9. The Blum stuff were bought by the carpenter.. Basically I told him what I wanted, and where I want it. He then went to buy the stuff according to his dimensions. e.g. certain Tandem runners were 400mm and others were 450mm.. I bought 1 set of Aventos, 4 Tandembox, 11sets of Tandem runners, 80 hinges & 40 Blumotion dampers.
  10. Chpt 18 : Search for the perfect bean Moving the Krups expresso machine was wonderful as everytime we went over at night to move stuff over, we could reward ourselves with a nice cuppa Start with Meiji milk and the Nespresso aeroccino to foam milk up to microbeads pour milk into the aeroccino and let it do its magic add in expresso shot nice latte sitting pretty in bodum doublewalled glass...keeps it warm n perfect now, we got the equipment..we need the perfect bean ! realise the machine doesnt fancy roasted beans. my mum got a bag of vietnamese coffee beans which smelt so good ! but the machine tossed out either too weak or too bitter coffee frm that. realise it likes dry beans. any suggestions for good beans ? do let me know
  11. Hello ! Welcome to RT ! interesting tiles u have there...light and dark toned tiles at the same time...do take more pics of the overall toilet so we can see see...
  12. Very pretty place u have there ! feels so warm and inviting...country looks does have its appeal. i was always a bit afraid of country look as dun really like too many floral patterns overdone. But yours is just the right touch of simple and pleasant.
  13. We bought quite a fair bit of Blum stuff becos all the cupboards in the house are using Blum hinges and Blumotion dampers, and also all the drawer runners are from Blum plus a few sets of Tandembox in the kitchen and a set of Aventos hinges for the dish-rack door. Total cost around $1.1k plus if I remember correctly. Had the crazy idea of installing servo drive for the kitchen's tandembox but couldn't get my loan from Singapore Pools approved..
  14. Yep, will definately get it changed to the smooth version. Did you get your Grohe stuff at Hydrostyle at Park Mall?
  15. 3) Grohe sets of toilet fittings for both common and master. the rainshower is God-given happiness...always feels like dancing in the rain taps feel heavy and yet super smooth to turn on and off 4) Magbloks ordered these frm d states. wenge, mahogany and super rare zebra wood. magnets are **** strong!
  16. Chpt 17 : All the small things... What we find we really like abt the new place 1) beauty of Blum-motion. we just love the work of anti-slam dampeners 2) our water heater at the service yard. original placing was in the common bath. that would look so crowded!
  17. We have the same hand-shower.. But I didn't know Grohe has the matt smooth shower hose, all along I thought only Hansgrohe had the matt version.. Will prob change it to the matt version when the current one wears out..
  18. Kopi, someone selling 40" Samsung LED tv!! Mai tu liao! http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=25336
  19. Yeah, that's the problem.. Homefix doesn't sell the premium adapters and it's too far to go all the way to their hq in joo koon again for just a couple of adapters.. Lemme know next time if you are getting more premium adapters, I might tag along in your purchase..
  20. ossify, can I check with you, will you get a better price if you buy additional premium adapters since you bought quite a substantial package from eubiq? I'm thinking of getting some premium adapters but they cost $75 each retail!!!
  21. Haha.. It's quite a popular fridge, can see in various T-blogs.. Did you get the 388l one as well? We were looking at the lighter shade stainless steel model for the longest, heng never buy cos we got the new darker platinum model which was launched quite recently..
  22. Choo chiang has many branches, you might want to check out their website to find the nearest branch from your place. The Legrand shop would be Evergood at Blk 27, Jalan Berseh #01-108. TEL: 62967579
  23. i havent used the pots and pans yet as we havent started cooking yet...let u noe once we use them k
  24. hi catseyes2004sg, other than dimensions, do note that there are different load capacity Blum Tandembox which are priced differently.. e.g. for S1 there's a 30kg ($51.05) version and 50kg ($56.77) version, grey or stainless steel (quite expensive, around 30 or 40 bucks more than grey). Tandembox are used in the kitchen becos you can buy Blum's Orga-Line acessories to sort out all the stuff you have in the kitchen.. If you are going install soft-closing drawers in other area of your house, then what you need is Tandem runners. For Tandembox, your carpenter need to construct the front, back and bottom of the drawer using wood. For Tandem runners, they are mounted beneath a complete wooden drawer. Both of them are soft-closing, both of them has Blumotion, but don't get the 2 mixed up, the price difference can be huge!
  25. I'm using a 600mm SC track in my kitchen.. Standard length are 600mm, 800mm, 1000mm & 1200mm. The track is rated up to 40A, and it can support up to 16 adapters per meter. I ran a separate point to the DB and have a master 20A switch which is right next to the track. Different series of track and different length has different prices, but generally it's around 190+ for 600mm, 220-240 for the 800mm tracks.. We didn't take note of prices for lengths longer than 800mm.
