Not sure any of u encounter the same problems or not but our storeroom ceiling actually got problem. The ceiling was like having those water mark. We just ask the hdb contractor come down last Sat and he mention that it might due to 湿气 or maybe somethings to do with the piping upstair or so on. Anyway he mention that already have few cases in our area and they will come down to re-paint our storeroom ceiling with some kind of paint which actually can remove those water mark. Maybe you guys can go back and take a look whether having the same problems or not. Better solve all this problems before the hdb contractor leaving.

So shutiao now u at least have 2 ppls which want to offer u the drill.. ya my living room almost everynite will hav the flies fly in, but my htb will catch it and then throw it out thru kitchen window let them fly away (dun want to 杀生).. Ohh, will it cause the flies fly in to your toilet??? I just stay above u!!

Ya lor.. storage heater normally on one time per day then good enough for whole day usage. Yaya, the yellow box had painted up, but this morning i feel still same ler, those cars doesn't seems to give way also... My MBR air con trunking run above toilet door then hide behind wardrobe, then the air con place back to back between second bedroom and 3rd bedroom, use the middle wall, run thru ceiling. Try to keep the air con trunking run short and simple, then the leaking problem will be lesser, won't cause choke.

Haha.. same here, turn on for about 5min then turn it off continue bathing... Mine is Alpha brand I build a feature wall in my living room, so i just stick the string curtain on the false ceiling only, so far quite ok ler... and velco more convenience, if you want change other color next time just peel it off..

I do the feature wall next to my storeroom, and place the TV console there, and the false ceiling was connect to storeroom wall with down lights. Which mean that my sofa was place in between the living room window & bedroom wall.

Actually the HDB contractor use the silicon sealing glue to seal the edges, cause usually is the edges that cause leak...

Hmm.. If I'm not remember wrongly, what my HTB told me is they put somethings like "rubber" to seal up the gap causes the water streams out...

Hi, I have the same problem on the common toilet, and also the living room window, when raining, the water like leaking into the living room. We had ask the hdb contractor solve for us, and they very fast! Thursday called Saturday done liao! Btw, I will move on next Sat!!!

Hey, I go for Hitachi Credit, they should have the lowest interest rates and the procedure is quite straight forward, no hassle. I just go there once and signed the agreement, the whole procedure take less than 15 minutes. When ur house reno complete almost 80-90%, just call them down to investigate the reno status, they will only release the money to contractor when we are satisfied with the renovation, otherwise they won't release the money.

Ya, I guess so, coz we are also quite suprise when found out that still got non-slanted unit left @ #12... plus is a corner unit, but we didn't choose coz don't like the main door direct facing the long corridor.. so we end up with corridor unit. For the noise level, I think is was same for all floors, or the noise level for mid-high floor might even higher than lower floor?

Me also from April 08 ballot, my number is 100++. When we choose, they still got quite a few units for high floor like #13 & above for slanted unit and 1 non-slanted unit on #12. But we are go for block and unit non-facing the exit staircase rather than slanted/non-slanted unit and # of floor, so when our turn to choose, based on the block and the unit we want, the higher unit left for us is middle floor, so we choose the middle floor... Actually when we got the ballot number for JW, we also got the ballot number for BTO in Punggol & Yishun after a week, and both of the number we got is 2 digits! So by that time we are like..*#@$%, how come got 3 x choices in one short??? Plus Punggol always be our first choice! But at the end, we dun want to wait for the BTO, so we end up give up the 2 others chances... (Fated to stay in JW and neighbours with u guys.. )

Oh.. ok, will try to look for it.. thanks! For my house, except the theme for living room might look a bit match with MBR, the rest was clash clash clash! Kitchen theme not go with common toilet colour, and the other 2 bedrooms was paint with different colour! Coz when our designer ask wat colour we want for the other 2 bedrooms, me & my HTB just simply choose 2 totally different colour. Hahaha...

To be honest, those necessary renovation like kitchen, waldrobe, TV console, window grill, matress, furniture, electrical, ligthings, fans.. etc already cost me nearly $30k!!! So I won't spend extra $ to redo the kitchen or WC tiles, cause we already paid it as a premium rates when we purchase the flat. For me, as long as it won't cause me problems like leaking or others I already happy! Anyway, any forumers know that where can we purchase the window film? I'm thinking to paste the window film on my corridor window instead of putting curtain on it. Can advise??
