BOLD ME!!! got the keys le! heh anyone doing parquet flooring? I will be using it and yesterday one of the contractors asked me to sign the contract by this week (as early as possible) before the parquet supply around the region got depleted and its prices shot up tremendously. I wonder how true is his words? anyone can clarify? hai.. dislike this kind of pressure... And ya, i plan to put my tv on the long wall and sofa on the short wall...

Actually, i heard from my colleague that you could actually roll a coin or crystal ball to check for any hollowness. It was said that the sudden change in the sound while it was rolling will identify the tiles quickly. dont know whether it is really efficient cos i havent got my keys yet. heh. but seriously, shyt man!! pay so much, yet still got to go thru QC on ourselves... duhz.

yo... i staying on the 3rd floor. And the coincidence part! the neighbour beside my unit is my NS understudy.. haha.. got to discover when we went to recee the neighbourhood... such a small world.. anyway, me not getting keys so soon. paying the 5% downpayment first. will be collecting the keys after ROM which is 2nd of sept!!! Just asking, anyone thinking of hacking down the bedroom to make your master bedroom more spacious? For me, i am kinda of tempted to do it as i wouldnt be staying with my parents. but, at the same time, worry abt the hefty reno cost.

hihi.. staying in 221A. looking at the progress now, my block will be the last to be done so i guess it makes me the most junior in this neighbourhood... haha.. just went to see Home Interior (www.homeinteriorsg.com) designer last weekend. Abit aggressive and gave us alot of promises. Feel that this designer is more like a salesman than designer... Didnt feel he is the right man. so many verbal promises.. say until machiam he is willing to lay his life for my house like tt. haha.. I wonder is this always the case when you visit these designers? Seriously, i kind of hate it.... ALso, any comments on Parquet / laminated flooring?
