For my case, my agent is charging me 0.5% for both selling my current house and purchase for my future house...but she is my aunt lah~ its really up to the agent how much he/she want to charge...can try to negotiate with yr agent since he's a close fren of yours..

I find that potong pasir is a better location than boon keng. Boon keng also not too bad but too crowded...ppl from towner, bendemeer, kallang bahru all jammed up there...and so near to factories and industrial parks.. Potong pasir is quieter...and most importantly its very near to toa payoh where my parents and other sibling live. and may_dream u r right!! must be near MRT...tats why i'm looking for units near potong pasir MRT..and not those located in the inner part of potong pasir away from the MRT.

cos i sold my current house last mth and got to move out after 2nd appt as buyer's family also need to do reno and move in asap...tats why can't get extention stay from them. I only started to see see look around beginning of the year but till now still havent found any unit that attracts me. I'm only interested in 3A unit at potong pasir area so choices are quite limited for me.

yup...moi also single once a mth meet up is a better idea cos i have to work during weekends so can't possibly meet every week..

Hi all, was tempted to buy a tempur mattress when I tried lying on it at Robinsons last week...it was very comfortable to sleep on it with air-con but I have a feeling it will be very hot to sleep on if w/o air-con...those using tempur mattress now can provide me with some feedback ?? Thanks~!!

I'm sleeping on a Slumberland for the past 9 yrs...its still as firm as the 1st day i got it

best is dun use mop...i always wipe the floor with a piece of cloth and a pail of water...i'm able to squeeze dry the cloth than a mop...its tiring but also a very good workout as i perspire like crazy...no need to go gym liao

seems like all bad experiences here with silver river...maybe i'm the only one who was quite satisfied with them... but that was very long ago...i bought most of my furnitures from them in late 2000...service and quality of goods all very good...bought my sofa set, TV console, 3 queen size bedframes+mattresses and 1 super single bedframe+mattress...till now all still in good condition except the sofa set...we hv changed to L-shape sofa 3 yrs ago..

My family bbq a few times a year in our EM balcony and we are not at the top level...so far no problem with our neighbours.. juz remember to close the kitchen and living room doors and the toilet doors on the 2nd level...if not whole unit will smell with bbq...
