after comparing a few shops, realise cheapest place to get curtains is clementi shop. but the prob is, dey dun have much 100% blackout night curtains. found a few not 100% blackout at 15buck-20bucks/m. based on 15bucks/m, it'll cost me 798, n based on 20bucks/m materials, it'll cost me 1000 to do 2curtain - 5mX2.8m & 3.5mX2.8m. shop is not so professional. very messy in my opinion with the way they handle customers. another shop mgl curtain at eminent plaza charges 1050 for the same curtain at 20buck/m material. while holly interior charges 1198 based on 17bucks/m material. most likely i'll be going for mgl curtain on the curtains. as for roller blind. based on the same materials i found at the abv 3shops, diff shop charges diff price, for YES!! de same thing! 6.50 for tat material at mgl curtains, 5.50bucks at clementi shop n 5bucks at holly interior. n of cos the better choice will be to get my roller blinds from holly interior at tanglin. so i'll be shopping at 2 diff shops, mainly mgl curtain n holly interior. but if i happen to find another nicer n cheaper shop, den i'll juz have to go them.

aiyoh. y ur id so lazy to hack away the existing kitchen wall tiles?? somehow i dun like anything old in de house. heng my id is nice to hack off all old tiles. even tiled the back of the tempered glass area with tiles for me. he say aiyah. little bit of tiles only, no need so niao. lol

my masonry work expected to be completed by the 4th of nov. now left with living room floor to do cement screeding and than tiling for the whole place. my ID says it is still within schedule. he oso called the workers to let them know tat cannot drag, cos plastering guys are coming in on the 5th of nov. n yeah. my ID did give me reno schedule

hehe. yeah lo. tat was a good one de fridge looks big, but i find tat it's ok leh. 510l only. moreover this one have got 3ticks. so i guess de wastage wun be much. moreover i think it's better to get a big fridge, with less stuffs inside, den small fridge with alot of stuffs inside. i heard this is more energy efficient? yeah. i will be using the layout tat nath.adrie have updated. anyway i wun be placing the fridge so near to the wall, so tat heat can flow n disperse off from de back n side of the machine. so i think it shuld be able to open. i dun really need the 60deg opening la. cos in my current home, my parents fridge oso in de same position which i would be placing my current fridge haha. ya. anytime find the door can't move, juz move the fridge, left right up down abit, den can open hehe. luckily my hubby heeded my advise n brought me there. his ex colleague told him some other good deals tat he got, n he ask me wan go again or not wor i was like... nooooo!! anyway realise i missed another deal. de samsung washing machine usual price 699, now going for 549. i tot i can get it at 500 at hongliang. realise hongliang selling at 600 somemore i told de agent i can get better price. den he tell me say he see if got display set n c if i want

hehe. yeah. been looking at this fridge for quite some time. the best deal i found was 950 at hong liang. now is 889 haha. ya lo. but so happen tat is samsung's cheapest microwave oven, and hubby was asking me i wan the microwave or not. if not juz take voucher. den buy a microwave tat i like. but i was telling him. y dun wan?? red + white! can match my kitchen haah. ok. so i juz put it aside? n use it when i need?

went to the gain city expo sale today. bought a samsung fridge tat was previously selling at 1199, today only 889 (bought the white one): and best of all foc microwave by agent: hehe. all white n red to match my red+white kitchen!!

erms.. who is ur ID? i only ask my ID according to the progress everytime we visit the flat, whether everything is according to schedule. he say yes wor. but looks to me like dey have 6days more, n all the tiling + some misc work to do. dunno can finish meh?

haha. actually quite happy la. even though it's not alot of wk done, but seeing how the black tiles look like in the kitchen, really makes my day. and very impt. the worksmanship of the tiling is really good. saw how close tiles were laid nxt to one another. one of my fears gone actually some stuff like kitchen cabinet base oso done, but dey forget i doing suspended cabinet, so ID broke it off again. luckily i reminded him. else cannot imagine de tiles oredi laid den realise haha. de ball light is in pretty bad condition. definitely not keeping it. u want??? oh ya. something sad. de workers will be on long wkend this wk. tml-mon no one wking. hope everything goes well n dey work faster on tues after a long rest!! dey only have until de 4th of nov to finish everything!!

went over to the flat in de evening with hubby to meet my ID to settle some communication issues regarding the kitchen. abit dissapointed, cos was expecting to see my toilets tiled up. anyway work from tues - fri: - both bathroom wall n floors levelled - main entrance frame fixed - whole unit windows fixed up - cement screeding for 3 bedrooms - 5/6 of wall erected in kitchen - some wall tiling done in kitchen requested for some stuffs to be done by ID: - cement/hack away previous owners' installed tiles outside window - wall erected in kitchen slightly slanted - plaster mbr bed head wall to be flat - remove aluminium on top of mbr window - extra point for 2 light in common bathroom photo time!! mbr bathroom wall & floor levelled: newly installed window in mbr bathroom: tiles outside mbr bathroom waiting to be tiled up for bathroom: previous storeroom door fully sealed: cement screeding in 3 bedrooms: windows installed in mbr: common bathroom with tiles ready to be laid: living room casement windows installed: and yeah!! some sign of tiling in the kitchen: wall erected in the kitchen to seperate the laundry area (fridge will be in front of wall): the pathetic laundry area for my washing machine:

my ID say his electrician can do it for me if i provide the cables n the port plug. but seems like huby suddenly do not wan to do again.
