the wooden rectangle shape is de door frame. de wooden thing below it is to hold the door frame in place, den will be removed later on.

acctually 12mm might not be safer than 10mm. cos 12mm is heavy. if someone leans on it. i think it'll break even easier? my ID advise not more den 2.4m height for glass panel. so i doing a partition on top to support my 2.4m height glass

i can't comment on de tiling part since as u mention ur tiles are of diff grade fr de usual ones used. but juz de hacking alone is pretty costly? i m doing alot more hacking including a few walls. n it's costing me only 2.5k. hacking kitchen wall+floor, cabinet+sink support, living/dining floor, bedroom+storeroom floor, wall panel br2, wall panel btw mbr & store, bathroom wall+floor, bathroom+room+main door+doorframe, bathroom+kitchen sanitary, whole house unwanted furnitures, part o kitchen wall, unwanted aircon+light+window

haha. y no red in de kitchen? my whole kitchen is full of red not really dangerous wor. de knife in de holder is held by magnets. so it's pretty hard to pull it out n in of the holder. kinda safe.
