u shuld have laid de kitchen tiles horizontally instead of vertically to make ur kitchen look even bigger. dis way of laying only makes de kitchen ceiling looks higher.

i m quoted 1020 for de same hob u bought with de 925m3/hr extraction capacity hood (RH-90CD). not sure if mine price is good. maybe i shuld call hong liang n c wat price he can offer?

haha. i m going for black becos my hm theme is basically black, white n red only. white will be too common. so i tot black looks cool. btw, where did u manage to get it at 90bucks? de cheapest i found so far is like 95bucks + 45bucks installation charge. my lighting electrician not doing installation for my fan, cos it's different kind of installation as i understand cos need to do ballancing for fan.

haulage+debris are the best part ID/contractor can make u pay. some can charge u 300, some can go up to 1k. basically it means bringing up the materials to ur unit, and throwing all unwanted materials out from ur hm later on. simple as that u can take a look at de shops ard jalan besar n geylang. cheap ones u can very well get at ard 150 to 300 per toilet bowl.

actually my quote is pretty much similar to wat i posted earlier. except there were slight increment in price for all carpentary wk, due to de height of de ceiling previously mentioned. other than tat, i oso removed one item from my quotation, so de whole quotation price only went up by abt 1k.

yeah!! finally signed on the dotted line yesterday with my ID. total damage : $$45790 =( after which, our ID brought us to one of his tile shop at belestiar to select tiles. chop chop, everything was done in less than 1hrs time. haha. ID say we are de easiest to handle couple. everything oso anything. lol. we told him nothing much to select. since we only looking at black, white n gray. so very simple. =p we were too lazy to bring de tiles back with us, we left it with de ID. so no pics as of now =x ID oso say by nxt wk can show us some drawings liao. excited!!

i think dis move will basically lead to higher commission from seller for flats with high cov n higher commission from buyers for flats with low cov. depends on who looks more desperate. so lucky for me? my hm with low cov only 1% still? but i oso read like de move where agent cannot represent both buyer n seller. i think this is a good move. cos previously sellers avoid me like a plague when dey know i have an agent

my ID come back with a quote that include removing both toilet door n doorframe for both mbr n common toilet, one of which i'll be doing bi-fold door n de other frosted tempered glass door. so i guess dey shuld remove de existing door frame before proceeding with de installation? but as for my bedrooms n main entrance, i request for them to remove de doorframes n rebuild it back, cos it's an old home n i prefer everything brand new.
