How Many Signed Otp Last Week?
JCase replied to Ely's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
If OPT has been signed then I believe both parties cannot back out? I may be wrong. If within the cooling off period, then can back off,I believe. -
How Many Signed Otp Last Week?
JCase replied to Ely's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
Ely, sorry to learn about your predicament. Explore and exercise all your options. Let the cooling measures take effect first and see if it impact prices across the board. Explore and be patient. Look for old pte property, if you research enough and keep plugging away, I'm sure you'll find something within your budget. I don't think you should off load your property in Australia. Imoit makes no sense to do this and to buy a HDB. What are the befits you hope to get out of this? I understand that you are fretting but keep a cool, clear head and think this through very carefully. Good luck. -

New Measures To Cool Property Market 30 August
JCase replied to Warrior88's topic in Finance and Insurance
Hi Warrior. Yes I take over agreement. Tenancy runs out in Apr '11 and I will give 2-mos notice in Feb. Deposit is already with me as this was deducted from final sale price. -
22K for kitchen and 2 toilets? Kinda of ex for a contractor imo. I was quoted 28K for 3 toilets and kitchen for a pte condo by a designer based at IMM. Includes wet works, plumbing (concealed) and installation of all fixtures. Toilets include vanity, mirror, tempered shower screens and besglas bi-fold doors.

Maybe but it really depends on location of HDB estate. Some established estates will still command a preium regardless of the new changes. Imo of course. -
Good stuff there ba. Can PM me contact of ID/contractor and indicative cost of overall damage include electrical? Thanks.

Good condition the place. Flooring in hall and bedrooms look good. Toilets I think you must do some work lah. Fastest way w/o hacking is to waterproof and overlay. Same goes with kitchen wall tiles. In fact better to screed over with cement and use lacobel glass or something instead of tiles. Imo only. As for the seller, tell them cannot extract anything. If they wanted they should have said upfront before OTP and what not exercised. Too bad for them. Good luck with the reno.

Invisible Grille
JCase replied to Curious_Chap's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
Not sure if they import from Australia. There is a company called Crim Safe that manufactures the so-called 'invisible' grilles. -
I used ***** back in Aug '08. I don't recall having to put down a deposit of any sort for drawings. Maybe different ID. We're very pleased with their work and creativity. We've just signed an option to buy a 2nd prop tdy. Very old condo (140Sqm). Thinking of whether we shld engage them again or not. We have a long way to go in terms of re-evalautiing IDs / contractors etc as the init is sold with tenancy till end Mar '11.
