  1. Hi cld someonePM me the A/C contact. Aron. Thanks.
  2. Sorry to hear about your fren.
  3. Oh well ... some EA's or EM's do come with a 3rd WC?
  4. My new (well very old) condo MBR layout is like that. Headache.
  5. Nice big space. Only 2 WC? Good luck with the reno.
  6. Yes but I believe it's their standard practice. The quotation is based on scope of work that you have given to them.
  7. 85K seems ok for the scope of work imo. Since you are using marble it's far more ex. Grilles for whole unit can easily come up to 4k or more i believe. My ceiling works from the quotes I've received so far range from 5-9K. Quote for homo tiles is approx 4.9K (living, dining and corridor). My floor space is 1506 sqm and the quote is for 60x60 cm.
  8. Actually there is. If either party cannot complete the transaction on an agreed upon date made during the OTP, then there is a case to charge interest.
  9. I may be wrong but re-roofing will cost a lot, possibly 20-30K,depending on extent of work.
  10. I'm non-Chinese and use FS quite frequently.
  11. Unfortunately we can legislate against blatant stupidity. I would understand if the noise levels are generated after ófficial'hours. Some people have nothing better to do.
  12. My boat sank and is a shipwreak. Just completed my MOP last Aug. So this yr bought pte. Costs 200K above what it was worth 2+ years ago. What to do? I bite bullet and buy cos location is solid and size is good for my growing kids.
  13. Nice pics mate. It's No.5 at Emerald Hill btw. Ahhh my old haunt pre-marriage. I'd be in the dog house if I posted any pics of my wife. I imagine you're heading there soon if she finds out ... ha ha. My wife too is made of glass and is apparently allergic to sunlight. So I bike, golf etc with my young'un who's 7.
  14. No wonder ba. Sent you nice, long and well thot out msg on Sun am and no response
  15. So where are the pictures of such brilliance and creativity? Imo looks really like self advertising.
  16. You have to bite the bullet. Once OTP signed very difficult to back out as legallu binding. If you are staying long terms I think price should hold. All the new parcels of land being released imo is all in ulu / underdeveloped locations. So if you bought in a good location it should not be a problem.
  17. Welcome and good stuff. Can't view any of the pics you posted though. Good luck with the reno.
  18. darkfear and marsbar, thanks for the feedback and ringing endorsement about Jason. From the pics the workmanship and final product looks top notch. I will seriously consider setting up a discussion with him. Ideas wise I have a few of my own (thanks to some handy mags that I've been buying). For me the toilets and kitchen are the most impt. I'm fussy as **** and hate my toilet floors to be wet, so shower screens is a must. I just met with the ex-ID and she did propose some useful ideas, I have to say she has a good sense of aesthetics and elegance but jeebus, I need to work 2 more jobs to afford everything that she's suggesting Now if I can get the best of all worlds... my design idea + his at a fair price then sweet. Anyway I am meeting with my tenants on Sun nite and will take pics of the place. Will post in a blog if / when I figure out how to post. I'm low tech man. Love the red laminates in your kitchen. We currently have white and red laminates in our flat's kitchen so maybe something different for the new place. I like the fact that Jason uses Blum hinges for the kitchen (well mentioned on his webby anyway). Look fwd to see the final product of your home soon. Cheers.
  19. We really had to scrimp and save for this over many years bro. Also with the MOP rules, we could not buy anything 2-3 years ago when prices were more attractive. To put things in context, the unit we just bought was approx 200K+ cheaper back in 2007. That's life. The current HDB we have lived in since 2004. We only started looking in Aug last year (after fulfilling MOP) and settled on our dream unit at end of June this year. OTP signed in July and sale just completed...phew... talk about timing. Oh, I've been watching Jason closely Am likely to contact him in the next few weeks. Read he's not taking any projects in Oct / Nov. Good thing for me is my project only commences in late Apr next year I've seen a few ID and received some outrageous quotations I have an idea for design so may not need an ID. I would however be willing to engage a designer i.e. pure design and then get a solid contractor to implement and manage. So is Jason ID or contractor?
  20. No lah. This ID on my sig did up our flat 2+ years ago. This one is 2nd prop that we bought but cannot move it cos bought with tenancy. Will cost me a lot of $$ to kick them out, so no point, betterto wait till tenancy runs out. Figured that at least we'll have good lead timeto source for ID / contractor to do up the place (maybetake up several part-timejobs to pay for reno )
  21. Btw guys, very nice the way the reno has come along. I can only start reno in Apr next year.
  22. own goal again bro. Ears gonna kena twisted again.
