12 HC.****e. You'll hate playing with me as I'm useless. Maybe we can head to the range first, it's close by. I don't even have a valid handicap card - just wrote in to Elite Golf Solutions in UK to renew my old one...... -

Electrical is not broken down and is a lumpsum. Cover all points, lights, SCV, telephone, fan, oven require and new trunking / conceal if applicable. Engage your own electrician at your own risk. Any foul up and CLC should not be held liable. I like their electrician, nice guy. If your works come below the quote they will refund $$ back to you. I didn't bother with asking them for itemised quote for electrical work. -
Moved in already. Still unpacking and organizing. Kitchen is so friggin small so no choice it will not look neat or pretty. Nevermind the yard area. We just heaped everything in there Good thing we lumped on $$ for lots of built in wardrobes as we certainly need the storage space. Hopefully we will befully functional by end ofnext week. Still have trouble locating my stuff and navigating around the place when all the lights are off.

My preference would be Sat between 1:30pm to 2pm. Fri evening I may need to run errands and get some much needed practice at the range before I completely embarrass myself at a friendly tourney next month. -

If you start in sept / oct definately can HO in Dec. No hurry. My project only started on 3 May and I confirmed with them late March. My place took 7 weeks to complete. If need be you can come by for a quick viewing this Fri evening or Sat afternoon (between 1:45pm to 2:15pm) as I then have to leave to drop my son for his afternoon cathecism class. -

I am informed that granite is actually cheaper than solid surface. Dunno how true. Didn'tbother with granite as there are visibile joint lines. Also granite is a little porous so maintenence can be tricky over time. If not ready then not ready. No point being pressured. Talk to him and tell him that you are keen to partner with them but only after you have seen a completed project and sought feedback / references from the owners. I think this is fair enough as your capital outlay is a lot. I believe he is reasonable. I am surprised as I was never pressured by Marcus or Leslie at any point in time. -

Sure to need shoe cabinet. My multi purpose. Store shoes and one area carved out for my golf bag. If sign contract already then it's debit / credit note. -

He did throw in some xtras in the ceiling works and design if I recall. He charged me 3K to straighten by slant on my MBR wall. Initially I freaked out but the 3K covered: Board to straighten wall. A mini WIW in the odd space. Wall paper on feature wall. Headboard and 2 side tables. -

My solid surface top is approx $150 pfr for kitchen and it's LG. Toilet ones are $90 pfr - some generic brand - Samsung? Not sure. I found the range limited for my kitchen so I upgraded. -

They are actually honest in their dealings. I always received debit / credit notes. So far as far as scheduling goes, all very sui. Always there will be someone working on the unit. -

Discount is probably due to upcoming ghost month folks. He didn't budge on my quotation either and we started reno in May. Maybe I should have waited for the ghost month -
Really nice character furniture and lights. SBH does have good range of tiles. We spent about 3 hrs to select 90%. Came back another day and spent an hour or so to select the rest. The majority of the tiles was our selection. ID only give input on whether certain combinations will look off or not.

Discount? I will have to have a word with them Had no such privilege myself. You can negotiate a discount with them anytime. Don't get sucked in by this end of week nonsense. Fact of life ..... ID need you more than you need them. -

Is ok to come by for viewing or visit in the next few weeks. Willy is free to contact me to arrange. He has brought some foks by on 25 June was was not the smartest thing to do as we had movers all over the place. So was messy like anything a quite dusty as the floors were not clean. We are settling in at the minute and things are slowly getting into place. The kitchen is quite a disaster zone but that due to my wife's doing. A whole lot of appliances and crap all over the limited counter top I keep quiet as I hardly venture into the kitchen in fear of knocking some of appliances over. Still a few more touch ups required. The electrician is still at my place on and off to handle small issues. -

They are able to give inernal colored laminates for all their carpentry because their overheads are low. The don't advertise or take part in trade shows. According to them all their work is via referral. Good luck with your reno. Keep in mind that all reno has some flaws. It's a matter of how it's handled that makes a difference. -

Leslie is a good designer so he has many ideas. Basically I had an idea of what I wanted but I gave him enough free play for design. Basically the criteria was functionality coupled with some form. The carpentry and wet works is of good quality. All carpentry comes with soft closing hinges and coloured internal laminates. Given the odd shape and limitation of the MBR, he managed to work around it and create something which both of us really like. Very cosy and there is compliance to FS requirementsto 'remove slanted wall in MBR). Their painters are so-so but the quality of finsihed work is really dependant on how smooth the wall is. Mine isn't but I canlive with it as we have a lot of paintings on the walls. Their electrician is a gem. Really nice guy and very accommodating. Helpful and always smiling. As I type he's still at my place doing some minor stuff. He helped drill and install all my paintings - about 10 pieces. Gave him a red packet for that. Project management wise - very good. Marcus is very dedicated and on the ball. Still some teething issues and he is responsive in getting it rectified without too much fuss. Hope this helps. -
